I have a feeling it'll be this one for quite a while.

The Explorer does not have a GMT hand. It has a 24 hour hand. Only the replica allows you to independently adjust this hand. It's an utterly devastating tell. I just thought you should know.
according to Rolex you can set a second time zone with it.
On expeditions, the Explorer II can also be used to display the time in two time zones. Local time is shown by the conventional hour hand, while the time in a second time zone can be read off the graduated bezel using the 24-hour hand. The 12-hour hand can be set independently via the winding crown, jumping from hour to hour without changing the minute and seconds hands in order to preserve accurate timekeeping.

Not yet just picked it up from the post office. The cyclops is there just not visible from that angle.Looking good, any mods or just removed cyclops?

Mine came in today too and I have to say it is the best out of the box rep I have seen. I am happy to wear it as is but that's not goi g to stop me from doing a few mods... AR, lume, gen strap, gen ETA, maybe some others but I will play with it for a while to see. I can't say enough about it definitely worth the wait.

Got mine today too. About damn time.FINALLY got my QC pics today.
Looks good, except I'd like to see a pic of the crown. I've seen a few people complain that the crown logo is off-center. I've waited this long...may as well make sure it's right!

I also ordered day one but it took a day to get the CC pay request back from Josh, hope I get some pictures of my own soon.I pre-ordered day 1, FYI.

Someone mentioned phong case? This viable? Or the cartel 1655 with heavy case shaving. Where is the phong sourced?
http://www.jewelryandwatch.com/
Phongs prices are ridiculous and to me not viable for any build of a sub $10000 watch

I'm not
Mine arrived today: pictures do not do the watch justice. I'm glad I waited!
Man that thing is sick! The strap is awful with the mold marks but that can be corrected with a gen as you have said. After seeing this yesterday I immediately emailed Josh to get my status and as others have indicated he has only sent out 3 and others will follow shortly. That doesn’t help as I was content to wait when it was only a production sample but now… I’m freaking out here

I’ve never been a fan of TZ other than their sales forum I spend a lot of time over at TRF but it is just as bad and the autocratic way they do business has left a bad taste in my mouth.

He posted that pic 4-5 years ago. Which reminds me - I have to go back to do an updated pic (if for no other reason than to see if their clock has been fixed).
We know it wasn't the watch.

@irontomkid Good illustration, but the watch itself is not straight in the frame. It is turned slightly clockwise in the frame so that makes the misalignment look less significant than it actually is.The crown might need to be turned a half click clockwise or the dial in the opposite. Can't be certain which.
Good point but I took case measurements in photoshop (best i could) at the pinion, crown guards, and case at 6 to position the cross.
