  1. I just figured as it was in pieces it may be the right time to change them over. i will never use the chrono funtion either. any idea on what these bits and pieces are worth?
  2. hi guys as the title states, I have a Tudor 7032 with the Val.7734 im about to have it serviced properly and am having the datewheel swapped to be correct also. im wondering if its worth be having the 45min counter parts added while the movement is being re-built does anyone know what parts are required to do this? and where I can source them??
  3. yeh it is. ill take careful note of how it comes out. im a little annoyed at having to line this up with the movement. I haven't heard of anyone else with this problem
  4. id hope to leave all that in there and only remove the plunger. i want to shave down one side of the end slightly as it just catches on the edge of the movement when trying to engage the chrono function. its either that or shave the movement which I wont be trying.
  5. i should be ok leaving them where they are. the ends on the inside look as they have a flat head screwdriver shape. and thats the part i need to shape a bit better. so should be reasonably simple.
  6. Hi guys to remove the pushers from the Tudor Monte Carlo 7032 (or Daytona) do i use a screwdriver and undo it from the inside? I need to shape the inside end of the pusher so it has better contact with the movement.
  7. the stem wasn't too bad. I think ill take the watch to my watch smith. doing some research it seems I will need a new sweeping seconds gear.
  8. yes i have had a look on ebay and found one locally. so feel better about it.
  9. id say your probably right too.
  10. I guess what I am hoping is that i can remove the pin from the old seconds hand and hopefully it will squeeze back into the hole?
  11. Hi guys im pretty sure ill be taking this to my watch-smith. normally anything other than swapping movements/dials/hands etc isn't for me. so I have bought a donor watch and removed movement. began to remove hands - all came off quite well. the seconds hand (at 9 o'clock)came off and with it came the small pin which it squeezes onto. I didnt notice until I began putting my tudor parts on it. after examining the hand which came off the tiny pin is still wedged into the small seconds hand. any thoughts of what I can do, or what i have broken? my other question is - has anyone measured the length of the stem before cutting it. as im trying to work out how i will do it. I have a new Valjoux 0.9 stem on its way which will need to be cut to fit. or if not, what is the best way to work it out. as the crown is screw down its quite hard.
  12. Hi guys wondering if you could recommend the best way to remove the bezel so I can give it a brushed finish on the face. Will I have to remove the crystal to do this?
  13. mate does Mary from International watch have a website?
  14. the Poljot movement definately doesn't fit in the DW Case, unsure of other brands. thanks LHOOQ, im after the same as you a 7836 folded with 380 ends, hopefully it will fit my case ok.? thanks for the offer JMB, if you have a 20mm 7836 id be happy to take it off your hands.
