Ok. Getting ready to take my first rep purchase. I have a gen Omega SM PO and started falling in love with watches. Can't afford any more at that price. Could you guys take a look at this UN Maxi Marine diver over at PC and tell me how good/bad a Rep it is? My link Red/Black I really want the black/rose gold. I have no experience with gold watches. I am afraid that the gold would come off the bottom clasp just with the usual rubbing against tables/desk etc and ruin the watch. Any feedback on this? My link Thx!

Not sure about the flaws, but I am buying the Gen of this watch. I thought I wanted blue until I saw the black. I was at my local AD and the manager said that blue is being disco'ed and soon the black will be out at a higher cost. He did not have on yet. If I was not going to get the Gen, then I would by this rep

Looking at getting the SMP Chrono. Are there any good reps of this out there? The ones I have seen have a lot of easy to spot flaws in the dial area. Is this not a good watch to rep accurately? Later

I agree looks great. Except for the lume dot at 4 o'clock would drive me crazy. Once the lume dots are aligned, I will by this no question.

I agree Fantastic! The only thing that keeps me from ordering one is the lume dots. Some are dead on and others are off. As soon as that is fixed I am buying one!

Sklyland looks like a perfect Rep. What is up with the lume dots? They are not centered and stick out like a sore thumb. I hope they are fixed I can't really tell from the last photo.

I saw the same thing yesterday at the store. They changed it to Montblanc. No biggie I am told, it is not a giveaway that it is a rep. Just an older model.

Thanks for all the feedback I have been researching REPS that I want for 3 weeks now. I think I am going to go with this one as my first Rep. The 2nd will be the Breitling EVO once the 1:1 rep w/ large date font comes back in stock from Josh or Angus.

Thinking about ordering this from Josh or Angus. I am looking from any feedback on the quality of the 1:1 Reps. Looks like a great watch. When I tried on the Gen at the store yesterday, I liked it even more. It is very heavy for the size.

You are correct about the pic on the site. It does not say MontBlanc. But I guess now the Rep is outdated. The new models all say MontBlanc. I think I might order it anyway? It looks like a good Rep.

Just got back from the Mont Blanc store in the mall. I noticed one Huge difference in the Gen Sport Crono collection watches. On the left side of the Gen watches they have the word MontBlanc on all the Reps I have seen, it says Meisterstuck!?!? Can someone explain such an huge flaw in Repping this watch? I have to say the Gen is fantastic!

I have been researching and looking at getting the Blackbird or EVO and still needs some advice. Stores TT and PC- Josh have both of them even though it looks like the EVO ultimate 1:1 is going to be out of stock for a while. I have noticed that even on the 1:1 ultimate(double AR, updated date font)there looks like a gap between the band and the bottom of the watch face on each side. I think this would be a dead giveaway that the watch is a rep. I am looking for the most perfect model of each one. Any advice on the perfect Blackbird rep? Updated date font/double AR seems again to be what to look for on the most updated best reps. Neither TT and PC site state that the rep is a 1:1 ultimate or a gen watch was used to copy the rep.

Please give me the link to the site I am buying that one!
