  1. I had the previous T3 in ss and the sec@9 Shaq.

Both cool watches, the size of the T3 was off, the Shaq was OK in size.

What bothered me the most.....the crystals. Both watches come with lupe-like crystals.....I had the gen on my wrist last year 8the T3 of a friend) and it look horror, the gen has the same lense effect on the crystal as the rep, and I hate that.

The newly released Titanium T3 is tempting, but the price is far away from just "trying" the watch out.

    Cheers

    Theo

    Thanks Theo

Right after I posted this thread while searching on another forum I just happened to find a local seller near me with a Shaq sec@12 for sale (post just tonight also)and its serviced so since I'm getting a fairly decent deal I decided to buy it so I'll pick it up later and report back. I did notice the "lupe" effect in the crystal you were talking about in the pics I thought it was just a reflection. I'll see if it bothers me its weird that it has that effect since the crystal is flat no?

  2. What is your opinions of the new sec@12 Shaq and T3 Models I can't seem to find alot of info on them is it because they aren't accurate and no one has bought them or something else? I'm thinking I'll end up picking one of them up If I get good feedback from you guys. The only questions I have are if they are accurate in size? and how do they compare to the regular ROO's in quality?

  3. Hello fellas I just got back from the AD with a friend he just bought a Rose gold AP "rubberclad" and I'm feeling it :) Now I'm not loaded like him yet but I was playing with the idea of buying the REP RG. I bought a sec@12 stainless "rubberclad" when the sec@12 movt just came out on the rep scene. And it was a total FAIL the first one I got was DOA and the replacement they sent me only lasted a couple hours and then also died. Also the rubber came off and flaked REAL quickly pretty much within 2 weeks all the rubber was flaking off it was horrible. But then later I bought a Sec@12 Blue themes and it lasted for a good 9 months and then I sold it but it was a great watch.

So basically my first question is how durable is the gold? And how durable is the rubber I thought I read somewhere they changed the rubber and made it a lot better but I'm not sure where I read that. So please let me in on the details fellas.

  4. Wow that looks soo good. All I was waiting for is for you to get yours so I can hear your complaints if any and I'm glad you like it cause I'll order mine sometime this week. I was mainly intrested in hearing about the operation of the pusher covers. I was worried about it being floppy so that basically nails it for me. How about the bezel gasket? was it the same as the original pics or is it in the correct location?

  5. I have done a lot of thinking on this subject lately.

Decided against Silver Themes for sure - not only because recent reports of bad quality but mainly because this dial does not really do it for me. Somehow I found this silver/black/red theme not appealing in both ROO and new Daytonas.

I was also thinking about Las Vegas strip but after some time spent comparing rep and gen I realised it is far especially when you look at hour markers.

So now we are down to RB2 and Survivor.

RB2 is beautiful but backplate has to be modded and subdials are way too shiny and I hate it in ROO reps (one of the reasons I sold my black rubberclad).

Survivor seems to be the best out of the bunch right now, with only one bigger flaw being incorrect bezel seal location but as I think it may not be THAT visible I have one on the way right now.

I also got another Black Themes (had two already but sold them and always ended up regretting it).

I think next in line are White Rubberclad (I know, subdials are too dark and date surround should be black but I feel I need to have it) and possibly RB2 just to see it in person.

But as I already have another V2 Top Gun, New TAG Caliper and DSSD on the way I think they will keep me busy :)

    Good luck with your choices.

When do you think you'll get your survivor? So we can get a review lol. And from who did you order it?

  6. Hey guys now that I sold my Blue themes Its time for another rep.

I listed the 4 choices that I'm interested in but I need help in making the final decision. Please answer the poll along with pro's and con's

I've been wanting the RB II forever but its alot and the dial issue is kind of obvious. I sorta like survior as well just to be different but that sucker cost alot and If I hate It I would take a hit. I also like the silver themes but I'm not sure what the flaws are and The las vegas strip looks nice except I can't wear it with everything am I wrong?

  7. well it does kind of look like the eod.. to b honest i like the red better than the yellow.. and i would think ppl would like red better.. and it is more limited in number than the eod.. hopefully it'll appreciate more than the eod.. this is my favourite by far.. i mean 30k is already similar to that of eod whos hovering at around 45k

took the words right out of my mouth.

  8. Very nice indeed....only flaw are the caseback-screws...they should be high-polished SS and not PVD coated.

This piece is SS and not Titanium as supposed to be....who cares.

I like that watch....but ask myself: "isn´t this one a bit to near at my new EoD?"

    Post your opinions and observations...

    Theo

The Original is SS not Titanium.

  9. Sead just sent me this. It looks nice and I'm really glad its not DOA like my last ROO in fact it actually has the longest Power Reserve of any rep I've ever had So far.

The Rep Strap isn't too bad at all except its kinda small for my wrist i'm on the last hole! Does anyone know if I get a gen strap if its longer?

I guess the only things wrong that I can see is that this rep doesn't have the correct case back for the Porto Cervo and and the date window should be white I think from the pics I've seen other then that it looks good. Also only the Hands are lumed not the numbers I assume its not lumed on the Gen either? Anyway enjoy the pics.

  10. Hey guys,I just ordered a new AP from SEAD. I got the Porto Cervo and I should be able to pick it up tomorrow. But i decided to finally get around to getting my old AP ROO "Ruberclad" fixed its been dead pretty much the entire time I've had it. I sent it back to china already once and it basically came back the same way. Needless to say I was pretty bummed. My question is is there anyone out there that can fix my dead sec @ 12 movement in the Rubberclad? I really hate to junk it but I have no use for it if it doesn't work but I really hate to see the $550 go down the toilet. And frankly I'm sketch on the new ROO that's coming. SEAD said he can take care of it if I have problems but If I wanted to service it to get it back to working condition for a reasonable cost I'd be willing to invest a little more in it. So what's your input guys?

  11. Hi guys I've been drooling over that new AP RB II Sec@ 12 based on the last few threads on it and I really want to order one but my Rubber clad that I bought last year was DOA and after I sent it back I waited weeks to get it back and when I did It died again the same day. I was very disappointed since then. And I don't even wear it. I wouldn't mind buying the new RB II but I'm weary that I might be unlucky again. Ive heard somewhere that the earlier models were slightly different is that so? Or is that just someone blowing smoke?

Also if Anyone is Interested in My HB BB RG Ceramic with Box and papers let me know I'd like to get rid of it for some $$ for the RB II if I decide to go with it.
