An AD told me this watch costs $15K US. Its a manual wind, so not an automatic, but its mechanical. The innovation is that its a mechanical chronograph that can show 1/10s accuracy. Any rep would purely be aesthetics. The 1/10 second accuracy is shown by an inside rotating bezel that I'm still not sure how it works. This is shown on the tag heuer website. As for wearing the watch? Its definitely an attention grabber. But what are you to say when someone says, "Nice watch. what does it do, and why is it so special"? Are you going to flash the quartz movement and show the simple slow tick chronograph and say, this is the the latest and greatest innovation from Tag?

I just received the bargain 16 piece watch tool kit from Amazon last night. Even with the tool kit, it took me 3 hours to resize the bracelet. Basically its those darn tubes in the center that make it so difficult. Another problem is the alignment. Each link has 2 sections to get through, so you have to make sure the resistance of the pin is from just the tube alone, and not because your pusher pin is stuck against one of the link sections.

I just got mine a week ago. I was very impressed with the day/date wheel alignment. I was expecting something crooked from the past reports; maybe they fixed it? Anyways, the links were a pain to get off. By far the hardest watch to resize.

I love my carerra. No malfunctions so far. Purchased it 3 weeks ago.
