  1. This link is to the preferred sellers.

    http://www.rwg.cc/members/Watch-Collectors-f198.html

None of these are featured dealers on this site, each of the dealers here usually also have their own website which you can make your purchase from.

This site is here to keep you from getting scammed and you are lucky to have found this site before making a purchase.

Please research the site more before asking another question as your answers are here you just need to look harder.

    Cheers,

    M

  2. Good day all:

I need some advice. I have a 3 month old Euromariner swiss Sub that I got from Eurotimez and the minute hand slips. I am going to look for a local watchmaker, besides my AD that I take my gens to. I basically want to know what the problem could be so that I could make sure that the watchmaker seems knowledgeable before I give him the watch.

    Thanks

  3. I think this is a good conversation to have but it is an easy one when your on the out side looking in not having to make the decision. The US has been spending more than they take in since the early 80s (thanks Ronald) and we the people have followed along by spending more than we make and helping to create a economy that is based on frivolous spending. http://zfacts.com/p/318.html

This is a direct effect of the securities markets being deregulated which brought out the greed in the banking system that enabled people to by things that they couldn't afford (i.e... housing bubble).

I to don't like the stimulus but if there is a 70/30 chance that it will help that means there would be a 70/30 chance of failure if nothing is done, failure in this case would mean another 1930s 10 year depression with up to 24.9% unemployment. That is not an option!!!!!!

  4. I live in Florida and we had the same type of amendment to vote on, Amendment 2.

The beautiful thing about living in a Democracy is that everyone has the right to voice their own conflicting opinions with conviction.

There is no inherent constitutional right of marriage so Florida and California did the correct thing by putting the vote to the people.

The thing that people leave out is that there are thousands of laws on the books in the U.S. that protect the rights of civil unions and domestic partnerships and as long as these rights are protected this is really a mute conversation because the one thing is that everyone has a constitutional right to is equality without discrimination and equal protection under the law.

AD added plenty to the conversation, but quantity isn't quality. All I've really got from you is:

-gay is unnatural and equitable to alcoholism

-to be gay means you are undeserving of equal treatment of straights

-your sister may be gay and you think less of her for it

-the homosexual agenda is polluting the minds of young children, who should be raised ignorant of homosexuality

Each of your points is based on fear, hate, and ignorance, not empirical evidence or rationalist thought. Citing tradition isn't citing fact. The newspaper articles and opinion pieces from right-wing sources are alarmist and based out of fear. The article about the Mass. school, frankly, doesn't give any detail about the negativity of educating youth but calls out the stupidity and arrogance of the parents who had to be removed from the school's property.

There's a difference between your criticism of homosexuality and my criticism of the christian right. Your attitude is based on [censored] myths and ancient desert prejudices and mine is based on calling out the right for the ridiculous hypocrisy of their opinions and policies. There's a difference between prejudice and judging. I'm not pre-judging the christian right, I'm taking what's out there and saying that it's [censored]. You're taking what ''could'' happen if gays were allowed to marry and this ''slippery slope'', which frankly you don't day descends into what and what that means for society (but you know it's not good!). As far as I know, California didn't fall into anarchy while gay marriage was legal and Canada's still on the map.

I don't think I'll ever understand the actual reason why folks hate the gays other than superstitious fear and personal insecurities.

  5. Thats pretty much all I'm looking for, and "BK" was the person I was told to contact. Hopefully he will chime in and point me in the right direction.

As to the weight, I know....my genuine all SS sub isn't that heavy. I can tell the case and guts are most of the weight, and I know my SS sub to be 100% genuine. I know a genuine 2 tone would weight much more because of the weight of the gold. I will buy the read deal one day but with a baby on the way I just can't do it right now.

    Thanks

    James

RobbieG is correct it seems like you need to do some more research. This is the only way you can limit the chances of you getting ripped off (limit). You mentioned weight, you need to research bracelet constructions hint - hollow or solid and you will understand the weight issue. All the info you need is here you just have to search and people will help you along the way. If you have a gen use it as a comparison to look at every inch of the rep you look at, every inch. You will be surprised at the many small problem on bad watches as to the one or two on good ones.

  6. For her experience credentials check out how the Alaskan economy is doing during these economic times, especially considering the mess she inherited. For "foreign" policy check out how well she negotiates between the many Alaskan native nations we have here, each with wealth larger than many countries. They have strident and significant demands for subsistence, land rights, social issues, healthcare, energy needs, and they usually DO NOT get along well together. She has managed to address their needs very well. As for foreign business, tarrifs, negotiations, she stood up for Alaska and faced down the oil companies, upholding the Alaskan. constitution to their detriment. She took away the Pt. Thompson leases from Exxon after they violated the terms AGAIN, and is forcing that development toward.

Our housing is strong, employment is strong, education is strong, we have almost 30 billion dollars in the bank, and she called the legislature to session AGAIN to make them produce a resource extraction rebate so each eligible Alaskan gets $1,200 for energy this winter. How many special sessions has she called? How often does she bend the legislature to her and the public's will? At least a dozen in 2 years. This woman can stare down the CEOs of BP, Exxon, and TransCanada and make them blink. She shoots better than I do.

She also chose to keep Trig when she and Todd found out she was pregnant with a Downs baby. She delivered him healthy and we're sure proud of that.

She can be your best friend; you do NOT want her for your enemy. She's an original iron woman and IMNSHO she'd do better than McCain.

Are you telling me that a State that has always had a healthy economy is because of Sarah Palin? Alaska and Virginia are the top two most Federally Funded Sates in the country. Alaska gets dividends and other subsidies for oil company income.

The longest ranking Rep Senator Stevens Scrutinized who is the architect for the economy of Alaska and gets all of the funding for the State is under Federal investigation for political corruption and one of the charges is bribes taken from the main private money source of the State of Alaska, Energy Services Company, Veco whose chief executive pleaded guilty in early May.

Housing is a problem but their are 5 or so states that are really foreclosure problems, the other states are having problems that are above the Governors head like industry leaving and going out of the country for cheaper labour. Alaska has an industry that can not be shipped over seas unlink Michigan, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Iowa or Ohio whose industry has either gone to South America, Mexico or Asia. http://www.fundmymutualfund.com/2008/07/fo...tivity-map.html

In the last study taken Alaskas education is tied for the rank of 49th in the country. http://www.statestats.com/edrank.htm

In the last full year statistical look at health care Alaska is in the bottom 10 in the U.S. http://healthcare-economist.com/2007/06/14...-care-rankings/

I think its cool for us to discuss politics but we all as Americans need to look at the facts, not just one persons view of how good or bad things are. If you look at the facts it doesn't seem that Alaska is doing all that great in comparison to other States that are fighting to keep industries from leaving and sky rocketing housing prices that are starting to plummet from eroding the middle class wealth of the country.

  7. I would strongly disagree. As a Governor you run the entire State government. All the Departments and agencies report to you. If you are prepping to run the US government, running something of that size trumps sitting in Legislative sessions and passing laws ... which ironically, the Governor has to figure out how to implement in many cases.

How many times you meet with your legislative body is not a measure of anything. The President normally only does it once a year formally. You can bet your bottom dollar that she and her staff meet with several of them on a daily basis, as does the President and his staff, no matter which party.

Personally, I wanted him to choose a Governor, but wanted Pawlenty instead. This choice doesn't help him on the "experience" argument, but is hardly fatal. If he loses the election, IMO she will not be the reason. Many people seem to forget the election is between Obama and McCain. It's not between Obama and Palin, Biden and Palin, or even Obama and Bush as some in the media would love everyone to believe. Yes, the VP candidates are a very small factor, but ultimately you should be voting for the guy at the top of the ticket.

Obama became a legislator in Illinois in January of 1997, and left office in Novemebr of 2004. Please let us know how that adds up to 11 years before he became a Senator. My math must be a little rusty.

Sorry I forgot the link for the polls. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls/

Sorry again I miss spoke I meant 11 years of total legislative experience, 1997-2008 even though they all neglect their office during running for President.

If I'm not mistaken running a State is different than running the country because the President is not in on the every day running of micro government. The Presidents main job is legislative and constitutional which you don't deal with on a regular basis as a Governor. I don't doubt that as Governor you would discuss ideas with your local H.R.. I think most people forget that the President is inundated by that pesky thing called the constitution and experience in that comes directly from being a legislator or having constitutional law experience.

  8. It is an interesting pick. It's unconventional, but I disagree with the mainstream media who call it a hail marry pass. McCain is in a great position right now as Obama has been tanking in the polls since July, and he doesn't need to do anything out of desperation. Even the DNC hardly provided Obama with a bounce in the polls, which is great news for McCain with the RNC still to come.

This pick does a number of things for McCain: (1) It brings on board a solid conservative to shore up the conservative base who have been dogging McCain all along. He needed a conservative on the ticket, and she is going to appease a great many. (2) It gives the Republicans a potentially history making ticket as well. (3) It brings youth and the notion of "change" from a Washington outsider to the ticket.

What I don't like about the pick: (1) Experience, or lack thereof. McCain's #1 talking point, IMO, is the experience issue. Choosing a junior governor hinders McCain's ability to go after Obama on experience to a certain degree. On the other hand, of course, it will be very hard for Biden to attack Palin on experience after having gone after Obama so harshly on the issue during the primaries. (2) It feels a little like a somewhat misguided attempt to court disgruntled Hillary voters. I just don't see a conservative female attracting too many Hillary types. (3) The Dan Quayle factor. I.e. Who the heck is Sarah Palin? She comes almost out of nowhere and could really falter in the VP debates against a menacing Joe Biden.

Personally, I'm still undecided. But I'm still leaning towards "none of the above." ;)

    Just a FYI...

check out this site, it has all of the top polls and averages. The DNC did give Obama a bump. He was down in the Gallup Poll and tied in the Rasmussen poll before the convention.
