  1. Hallo guys,

It"s been a long time since I was here.

So I guess things have changed ???

Because I live in Europe, In the past I ordered my watches form PT (pt.swiww.com i beleve ? )

But I can't find the site anymore ? Has he stopped ?

Can someone give me some advice please ?

I like to order watches that come directly from the UK. ;)

    Thanks ! ! !

PS: If I may not ask this on the forum, you may always PM me ;)

In the past my main interest went to Breitling, but now I want to order a nice Rollie ;)

  2. Ha, THX

The site of PT is again online now.

And who's ET ??? Doe you have a link please ? ( via PM is also fine if this is not allowed )

I'm dreaming of a AP Royal Oak.... good choise ?

EDIT: Now I remember. ET = Chris ? But I've lost the link.

The last time I was here he was renewing his website I think.

  3. Well, it's been a mong time that I visited the RWG forum, but now I can't fint the dealers subforum ?

    Is it dissapeared now ?

Of course I have my preferences ( PT rulez ! ) but in the past it was interesting to see when they had something new or so.

So, I'd like to know where that subforum is hidden ? ;) THX a lot ! :good:

  4. All I can see are some really cheep reps with strange lettering, Voow??? I would stick to the dealers here at RWG and forget this other nonsense. Just my 2 rubels ;) Mike

    Yes, you're right.

The name models don't match and at some photo's the brandmame seems to be erased.

But th's why i ask here if anybody know thsi seller.

  5. [i have many versions of this--white, black, silver, brown, maroon and blue dials. I know, kind of obsessive. The only ones that are close to the gen--which I've seen a number of times at an AD--are blue, black and the correct brown, which is really copper. The one I ordered from Trusty, which was supposed to be brown, was in fact maroon. Gorgeous, and I kept it, but not even close to the gen. The brown one which is close to the gen I ordered from Jay at Silix because he did an impressively detailed photographic comparison of the rep and the gen a year ago and his version looked identical. Took about a month to actually get the watch from Jay, for many reasons, but it does compare very closely. Also, I ordered the rep ocean racer strap in blue and Jay's came with a brown OR, and then ordered just the straps alone from an AD ($77 each, without the clasp.) Then I put the rep clasp on the gen strap and the whole thing is spot on to the gen. FYI, the rep brown OR strap isn't close in color to the gen, and the blue rep OR is off too. I will post pics sometime of all of this.

    Hallo sbh718,

Many versions ! Great ! Obsessive ? No way - me myself I'm considering to buy the white and the black SOSF too. ( I own a blue one )

Hmm...I would like to buy it from PT ( Precious Time ).

Do you know if he has the "correct" copper-brown ?

EDIT: Is this an A 7750 or is it also available with a Swiss Eta-movement ? ( like the SOSF )

  6. Wich color does matct the best with a gen ?

I prefer the brown one, but I'm afraid there's too much difference ?

In some reviews I read the brown looks too much "reddish" ???

I have already many black-dialled watches, so must I consider to buy a blue one ?

Let me put this in a other way: Someone here owns a BROWN version ?

    THANKS !!!

  7. You can see a typical "Uncle" story told here.

    Thx guys !

And yes, I KNOW some dealers put pictures of the real stuff on their sites and when you receive the wat, it seems more horrible than a frankenwatch...

But this guy is ( euh I think...) a private seller, and I was fooled by the "spontanious wristshot".

But probably it was "borrowed" from a true Paneristi-forum or so..... :(

EDIT: I forgot to mention it, but this guy had the box and the paperwork. But...so what ? We all know where to get that stuff ? Right ? <_<:D:p

  8. Hey guys, sorry, sorry, sorry......

And hey, I know which sellers are (very) good and reliable here.

    I bought already from PT.

But yes, I found a couple of watches which were for sale by some persons in the neigborhood. Same country, only a few km's to ride. So that would be easy to buy. But you never know from who you are buying...

But is it asked too much to ask for advice here ?

I'm only a newbee, so I can't advise anyone yet. But I'm learning. Thanks to the goodwill from those who are willing gto give me some reply's.

And sorry if I type sometimes some faults. 1) My motherlanguage is not English 2) I'm a 2-finger-typer......

So...peace to all of you and a merry Xmas ! :drinks:

  9. Wel guys, you could be right.

He posted 3 pics of his watch.

The first was obvious from the net, the second is the one I pasted here.

I will try to post the third.

On the third, the bracelet looks like steel instead of Ti ???

    Very confusing...

    EDIT: Sorry guys !

Just got a message from the man.

He had no batteries for his digicam so he used 3 pics from the net. :bangin:

I have asked him to take pictures or otherwise no deal !

Sorry i bother you all.... the "wristshot" did me assume it was his own photo..... :black_eye:
