Get well soon Neil. It must be tough to be down sick in that beautiful weather, LOL.

That's a beauty. congratulations. has been one of my favorites for a long time and am actually wearing it right now. The white dial stands out.

Here in L.A. we're down to 60 degrees. Had to put a sweater on!

Congrats Bytor. It really is a bargain. I'm having trouble taking it off.

I have seen the Mare Nostrum. What a classic look. I'd be in for one.
thanks for bringing it up. I've often wondered why nobody mentions it.

I was taken by the VC Overseas (black dial). It's quality really surprised me and when I have to decide what to wear on any given day, my eye goes immediately to the VC.

#clive..
Yes GMT is indeed on the horizon.... maybe in a couple of weeks.
This MB Timewalker project took the maker almost a year to complete..
...........Well, he did a fantastic job

I do, I do. Great watches. Great photo's as usual.

This one is a beauty. I normally would snap it up, but since the IWC Ingeniur chrono is now out, I'll probably go for that instead. It's a $6,000 watch. Timewalker is under three thousand. Silly reason for making a choice but.............

I have it, and haven't worn it yet. Now I will!
Great photo's.
Thanks

What a beauty. It appears to be exact to original?
I waited on the non-chrono Ingenieur, but now.............

I'm a big fan and have four ML reps that are pretty dead on. They aren't readily available because there not as popular as the usual stuff. Try Narikaa or some of the other dealers. There out there.

Actually, TVT, no offense meant. The funny thing is I remember the same reaction when the Pam's came out over a year ago. Way to big, who could wear these clocks? etc., etc..
Exact same kind of comments and then.......viola, everybody was into Pams.
I don't think history will repeat itself here.

They already do make their own brands. It seems that there are 100's of different brands being made in China. Low cost and no name brands that are primarily sold in Asia. Some of the China experts can probably fill in more on the subject.

Probably, the biggest improvement comes from the manufacturers no longer relying on pictures but actually copying from the real watch. That seems to be a recent transition. The other is the improvement in movements available.

I'm wearing thtis one today. One modification I've made is to paint the sub-dial second hands black. This was the only flaw I'd found in this watch. Compared it with the real deal and it is identical, now. The sub-dial hands are identical to the real ones.
Unfortunately, I haven't photographed the mod yet.
A Bit Of Xmas (is That X-mas!) Eye Candy.
