  1. and what is the biggest flaw on these gmt editions? the datewheel? I am just curious, because i really want one and i am thinking about just buying one from pt...i mean are they so bad or are they just not as good as the older models? hope i don't bother you with these questions, thnank you
  2. maybe it is not clear what i want to know exactly. Would you recommend to buy this gmt or is it a bad replication?
  3. Hi, I am looking for a GMT-Master II with a red/blue bezel. Because I am in Europe, I would be interested in this watch from PT: http://ptswisswatch.com/rolex-gmt-master-ii-red-blue-16710/product_info.php/products_id/210 I did already read much to get an overview of all the models, but I have to admit that the only thing I am sure of is that the noob-gmt was the best model made, but it is not available anymore. So what can you guys tell me about PT's model, what do you think of it? Thanks for your help in advance. Greets Alex
  4. I am in Germany, too and I preordered the one of BK. He offers forwarding from the UK to Germany.
  5. There is a member called Bricciola, he is mentioned in this thread I have a good experience with him, he serviced my Tag Heuer Aquaracer with an asian 7750. I don
  6. Hi, Some months ago I bought an orange PO from Narikaa. I am very convenient with it, it is a great piece and I love it. The only thing is, that I scratched the orange part of the bezel and I can
  7. Bist du dir sicher, dass die die Skyland V2 nicht haben, frag nach, normalerweise haben sie die schon oder k
  8. Aller, if I were you and wouldn't know where to buy, I would buy from one of the dealers, which I recommended to you in a PM. They are both save and have good watches.
  9. Man, man, man, I can't believe it. None of my other threads brought so fast so many answers to me . Thanks for your warnings and hints. But we travel definitly this year. First of all, because I think I won't have 180 days free one year later. And probably we will have to live without the pleasure of life. No, seriously it's not very tragic for us, because we don't make a drinking or feasting holiday. BTW, at the moment I wear a orange polo, I think it's very becoming to me .
  10. Dear chiefwiggum What you personnally think don't matters for me. Nevertheless I think much of you, because I don't know you personal, if you understand what I mean. And OK the world is affected by terrorism and I have noticed, too, that the US security is very strict, but in cossetted Germany we say asking does not cost. The latter was the reason for my question. I explicit advised you to claim it if I have to revoke the question, but you did not even ask for it, but you want to teach me. All I expected with this question was something like "go to Chinatown" or something like in the aswers before yours. "You need to stay at school a little bit longer, go to work, get some street nous and grow up before you step out into the big world" Oh come on and stick to facts! Yes I am young and I don't have much experience, but you sound as if you come directly out of the ghetto UK. All I want to do is to go to discos and bars sometimes and this has nothing to do with the danger of terrorist activitiy or the cossetted Germany. It's OK, if my question is not feasible in US, but then, you have nothing more to say. BTW, perhabs you did notice, that I am under 21, thus, it should be clear that this stands only for my DOB. But it's needless. Someone with your experience did know this anyway, it was perhabs only a little choke. This ignorant comment was unnecessary, too. I did mean my question like I wrote it. Behind the question was nothing malicious and even if it was for you, you can say it normally. I have a good mind to affront you, too, but I don't need to condescend to you.
  11. Hi, In a little while I will go on a journey of 180 days to the USA. I travel with two friends of mine from the West to the East . We only have a rental car and a tent. But we have a problem. We are all graduates and so we are under 21. Because we don't want to resign some luxury like bars etc, I have a question: Do you have any idea, where we can get a fakee idd or a fakee driverlicense (misspellings because of gogle) or something near it in San Francisco? I would be thankful for every PM you could send to me. If this question is completely unqualified on RWG, please don't hesitate to say and I will delete the thread. Thanks.
  12. I had the same problem with my first replica, it was about 15 seconds per day too fast. So I decided to regulate it (I am a little perfectionist ). Even for a newbie this is easy. You only have to open the case, the tool for this is cheap, and then do what is described in the following thread: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=19163
  13. Thanks very much, that's exactly the information I need. Very good pictures and explanations.
  14. Oh my god, we should be ashamed of ourselfs to wear reps . No seriously, even if I could buy all the gens, I would like to have, in my opinion, the reps are much more worth its price then the majority of the gens . But this is my opinion and another discussion.
  15. Hehe I was a noob, when I buyed a similar watch at my holiday in Italy: 25
  16. Hi, my dealer anwered in the following way: "Make sure when you manual wind it is upright and facing you, not flat down. and also wind slowly." I have done so and it works all good with this instructions. Well, but nevertheless I don't think it is normal, that if I hold the watch horizontal the rotor moves if I turn the crown, or what do you think? It's definitly not life-threatening for the watch, but I would like to know if it is defective or not or if the dealer should repair it or if I have to live with that. What do you think? Greetings Alex
  17. Thanks. I did contact the seller, because I wasn't able to find a local watchsmith, yet. Let's see, what he suggests. @freddy333 - I don't understand, what you mean with "to schedule your watch for an appointment". I thought the Zigmeister is in Canada and me in Germany (or am I wrong). So I am very unwillingly to send the watch to Canada(customs?). Or what do you mean? Howmuch I don't understand your last sentence, because I translate it wrong. Could you please clear me up?
  18. I thought of return the watch to the dealer, too. But with going to a local watchsmith, I think there is no risk for me(customs etc.) and if I find a good one, I can go to him anytime.
  19. Yes thanks I came to the same decision. What should I say to the watchsmith? Should I just ask for repairing the watch, or should he clean and oil all other parts, too? Because I heard, that reps are often bad oiled etc. And what would you say? "Hello Mr watchsmith I have a replica with an asian 7750?" Or do you have a better version?
  20. Yeah OK I think the watchsmith is not the problem, but does the service hurry or not? Thanks
  21. Thanks, I'm sorry to say that I don't know a good watchsmith in Germany near Stuttgart (thankful for all leads). Your advise is, that I should make a service anyway, don't matter if I use the crown or not. Abrades the watch faster with this bug? Because if not, the service hurries not (or am I wrong?).
  22. Hi, on saturday I got my first good replica, a new Aquaracer. As I winded the crown, I noticed, that the rotor moves, when I turn the crown. I read a little bit at RWG and arrived at the conclusion, that my reversing wheel is defective. Normally I don't wind my watches with the crown, but I shake (don't know a better word) the watch. So I don't need the crown to wind the watch, do I have to repair anything or is it no problem, because I don't need the crown? Greetings Alex
  23. OK thanks. Your answers are a good advise for me and I decided to buy the classic ETA Bond SMP: 2220.80. Now I have to inform me a little bit, because the customs of Germany are very strict and at the moment I don't know where to buy a good rep of this watch.
