  1. I will let you know Mike, the problem in germany is the CITE for protected animals.

Very hard to get croc skins.

Indeed such a shame. I guess God has made them specifically for watch straps. :bangin: Maybe a day will come when a giant croc will come around and show you off on his watch forum... And all the others will go "wow! What did you make this is one out of? A german? Those are really scarce these days... Hard to find... Damn those human right activists."

  2. Thank you - I am considering a dark brown gator with white stitching. Or grain brown leather instead, because I will receive a black IWC rep strap in the next days.

    Other strap suggestions?

I think the blue gator might be really nice indeed. Here is a beauty from the watch boy clan.

I wonder how kevlar would look on this gorgeous piece.

Enjoy the watch, it's definitely a winner! :good:

  3. This is actually a pretty poor one... The ebay scams that buyers are pulling these days are out of control. And the worst part about it, no matter how good your seller feedback is ebay almost ALWAYS will side with they buyer.

Though it reminds me of these email scams going around:

I am sorry for using this medium to contact you, My name is Steve Owusu, I want to inquire from you if Gold business is movable business in your country.Sir, My Step Father he is old so he told me to take only 30 kilos Gold from the 250 kilos that belongs for our family so that I will sale the gold to further my education and take care of my life, sir I want you to advice me on how to send the 50 kilos of the gold to you by DHL or FEDEX.Sir right now the 50 kilos is with me, your urgent reply is highly needed,I want to use the money of the gold to pay my school fess,my father said that he will not pay my school fee again because he is not my biological father, my father died when I was 2yrs old. Please, advise me what to do now.

  4. As spring is a time of awakening not only spiritual (Easter/Passover) but physical as well (nature), and it certainly seems to be just that around the forum with "new, old members" emerging from the abyss, I wanted to take this opportunity to both say hello myself and extend warm holiday wished to all the members of the RWG fam! I haven't been active on the forum other than reading and occasionally asking questions and it's about time to try and change that :victory:

    Cheers,

  5. why not buy the Series Speciale version of the Navi which already has a 6-9-12 configuration and a flush datewheel?...

if you want to use a tri-compax dial/configuration dial - like the one in your post - you can use a 7750 and an eta 4.5 datewheel...that's what i did on my old skool tri-compax Navi - but i can't vouch for whether the newer model tri-compax have the right 4.5 alignment?...

if your question is whether you can mod a rep tri-compax into the 6-9-12, i don't think its an easy task -- unless you have access to some rep movement parts...

and if the question is more focused on the case - i know that you need an old skool tri-compax case to make an eta7750 franken...and this doesn't appear to be one...

    R-

At the end I want to be left with a 6-9-12 version. The question I guess is can I fit an original dial in and a 7750 ETA movement into the 6-9-12 Navi versions currently being sold (like the ones below from Perfect Clones).

Also wondered if anyone can tell me what are the differences between these two:

    and bl10034 navitimer serie speciale

    both from PC

    Thank You!

  6. I was worried that was going to be the case. I tried to PM Andreww but he seems to have that option blocked. My goal is to have a 12-6-9 Navitimer running on the ETA 7750 but after all I have read about the sunked datewheel I am having real doubts I will be able to pull it off. From the pictures on www.1-pc8838.com the datewheel seems to be quite flushed with the dial.

  7. Hey guys.

I am looking to buy this beautiful watch with the swiss movement. I saw Angus selling it for $768 not shipped. This already adds up to around $820 shipped since I want this piece shipped safely (the only thing I thought of was to ship the movement and the casing seperately) Is there a better place to but or a better way to ship or both?

    Thanks
