I'm not sure if there is a rep of it, but, you could probably piece something together by getting one of the black fantasy versions of the 2531.80 as a base, and transplanting in one of the 007 second hands from one of the commemorative editions... It'll make it an expensive second hand (compared to the watch) but it could give you the look you want
What do you think of this... I am not good enough to spot the issues: http://www.lifetimereplicas.com/product.ph...7&Product=9

I am likely going to be picking up a used authentic seamaster pro this month but am just so darn attracted to the new black bond seamster: 212.30.41.20.01.001
Unfortunately, it's totally out of my price range so i figured it would be nice to have an authentic seamaster pro and a rep of the new black one. Can anyone point me in the direction of a solid rep of this beautiful watch. Also, is this black on the same size as a full size seamaster or of the planet ocean (i thought the po's were significantly larger?)

Problem with ebay is it's impossible to tell if it's an authentic piece or rep being sold.
Does this look authentic?
-
My mistake, thats meant to read..... 'about purchasing a gen'
Try Timezone, or Ebay for some bargains at the moment.

Thanks for everyone's help. Yes it's US dollars and he wants 700 of them
When you are saying "reps" are you saying that this might not be 100% authentic and originally made by omega. Assuming i walk away, anyone know where I could pik up a reasonably priced seamaster (maybe an automatic)
-
Does this sound sketchy? Here was his response when i asked for the SN number. I told him i had a buddy at omega who was going to verify the SN number to make sure it's authentic
this one was bought from a grey dealer and so the serial is wipped out. I guess the original dealer didnt want the watch going around grey market under there dealer name. If you do research some omega dont have serials.I totally understand if your unsure of the watch. But again, I guarantee 100%. if you really want, I open the caseback with my username and date on a piece of paper with a pic of the omega movement. But let me know if your still interested as I dont want to open the back unless you are sure.
I always wanted this watch (even since goldeneye) and don't thin ki would mind the fact that it's not automatic.... But he said he is firm on the 700

A quartz SMP without box and papers...I wouldn't go over
-
It's ok if you like Quartz ...
What's the price?
700 but no papers or anything... that's why i was skeptical
-
Someone is selling this on another forum but I can't tell if it's real or fake. He claims it's the real deal but doesn't have ANY papers...
-
Save your money and wait for a new version to be released. All current models of this watch are crap. Go for the SMP Chrono instead
What are the main errors on the SMP chrono: http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1693
Also, what happened to the factory that was producing really good SMP? They were shut down for making such accurate reps ?
-
250 for that????????????????????
the worst pearl CGs and SEL i have seen for a watch of that price
really? I thought josh was known for quality stuff....
would you suggest the silix SMP: http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?cur...USD&id=1319
-
bad pearl
bad he valve placement
bad CGs
No way to fix the above either
I keep hearing about this long lost factory that made really good SMP reps... is anyone selling one of those? Were they that good?
-
So i decided the Planet ocean is simply way to big for my tiny wrist so I came to the conclusion I would go with a SMP. The perfect clones version is 250 and looks just like this
http://www.pc-80108.com/omse10004-2007-sea...362-p-2775.html
What are the major issues of this watch and can they be fixed?
-
Here you can see the bottom of the He valve is roughly in line with the 10 marker as you describe, so yes the one you have seen is probably a genuine. Only very few were released (a long time ago) with a well placed He valve.
any way to get my hands on a very authentic looking smp?
-
As soon as a perfect IWC Mk XVI is brought out,
or as Dorothey sang "some day i wish up on a star"
Sucks... that has to be my favorite watch and, even a used one costs like 800 bucks
-
We are all still waiting for a new one with the correct He valve and crown guards that look real
any idea when those would be released? Is that something which should happen soon or is that a way's out?

I am interested in buying a replica Omega Seamaster but have gotten so many mixed reviews. Many people say that the seamaster reps are all rather junky and inaccurate. I have been told the Planet Ocean rep would be best (especially the 007 version as I love the bond limited edition look)...
But, my major issue is that i have a small wrist... very thin wrist... so i don't want to get the planet ocean which will dwarf my arm. I would love a 007 edition seamaster but feel uncomfortable considering one given the quality issues.
Can anyone point me in a direction where I could get a solid seamaster rep
or with the 007 log like this...
Where Can I Get A Very Accurate Black 007 QOS Rep?
in The Omega Area

Problem there is that, even if i replaced the second hand, it has a 007 logo where it doesn't belong, doesn't ahve seamaster in red, and, instead, has the omega logo... ARGHHHH
PS: I have never taken apart watches so wouldn't really be in a good spot to do so (at least i imagine it's pretty hard).
