  1. That's lovely !! May I ask the price for that strap ? I'd really love to buy it for my 3717.
  2. The watch arrived, mint conditions, I'm really happy
  3. I have a gen Colt Chrono with quartz movement, in really good conditions, brown leather strap... I've bought in the late nineties, but I never wear it... I was thinking that I could sell it in order to buy some reps... How can I determine a fair asking price ? I live in Italy, do you think that Chrono24 is better than the Bay ? Thank you for your help
  4. I absolutely LOVE this watch: http://www.chrono24.com/it/search/index.ht...p;MODEL=carrera edition&SORTORDER=1&numresults=7 I'm in love with "panda" dials, and I think the non-tachy Carrera is wonderful.... Have you ever seen this in a rep version ? Any chance to buy it from EU-based dealers ?
  5. Thank you very much ! And sorry for starting a new thread, but I didn't find the one you've linked.
  6. Thank you very much ! I think I'll try, it doesn't sound that difficult BTW, what's the name of that tool ? If I find one, I'd like to buy it (just to be sure)...
  7. The facts: - I'm a total ignorant about watches - I will soon have a rep 3717 - I don't like black leather straps - I've ordered a brown leather strap - I don't have any particular tool - I only have toothpicks, a cutter, a series of small screwdrivers (to be used with eyeglasses and other objects with very small screws), and lots of patience - I'd like to replace the strap The big question: - is it possible ???
  8. I found a Sinn watch I was looking for... The guy placed a name, a telephone number, and 4 pictures of the watch. He then answered my email and sent me other hi-res pictures. He accepts Paypal. The question is: is there a way to know if I can buy it without risks or not ? This is the first time I buy from Chrono24... Thank you so much Andi
  9. I've found an interesting site, I hope it can be useful for other EU watch enthusiasts. http://www.uhrenarmband-versand.de/shop-Uh...andversand.html
  10. Thank you all ! @phoband: is your rep kevlar strap new ? do you live in the EU ?
  11. Thank you for your kind reply ! I've done some research for the 3717, and I think I've found the seller/version that suits me the most. I live in Italy, and - believe me - customs are ALWAYS in issue if you buy something outside Europe... I've experienced this with spare parts for my car and other products I've bought in the past... Even when the value is low, and it's shipped by UPS/DHL/FEDEX, something goes wrong. That's the reason why I'd prefer to buy the strap from EU or UK...
  12. Hi ! I'm planning to buy a rep 3717, but I'm not a fan of leather straps... I was thinking about a Kevlar one, and I've also read a similar thread, but the fact is that I'd prefer to buy the strap in Europe (no custom problems, faster shipping, etc). First of all... Do you know the size of the original strap ? Is that a 21/19 mm ? Can you suggest a forum member / online shop / auction seller based in Europe who sells kevlar/canvas/rupper straps ? Thank you ! :-) PS: I can also consider to buy a strap with a "non replica", unbranded buckle
  13. Ciao everyone, this is Andi from Italy. I'm new to replica watches, and a friend of mine told me this is THE place to learn everything about replica watches. I have a genuine Speedmaster and a genuine Monaco, I love watches, and I'm starting to think that replica watches can be a good way to enlarge my collection before I'm able to buy genuine ones... and probably a good way to use a nice watch everyday as well. I would like to buy a replica IWC Pilot Chrono, but since my wrist is quite small, I will also look for a Carrera (probably a "panda dial" 1964 chrono). Just a question (in order not to make mistakes from day 1): if I want to have info about IWC replicas for sale, do I have to post in the IWC section or somwehere else ? Thank you very much ! Andi
