I looking for a Strap Like this one but with blue stitching instead of red to match the blue dials on the VC. I think it would give it a touch of sportiness along with the dressy look.
Alligator strap with blue stitching and blue back with butterfly clasp.
Where can i get it?

I dropped my tag carrera from up high on cement floor. Incredibly the case and glass does not have a single scratch but the movement stopped is asia 7750. Ok I'm not an expert on the automatic movement but the pendulum seems fine, seems like something is loose inside. What are your suggestions for best way of fixing it? Locoal watchsmith is the hardest for me. Don't know any.
-
hackR thats a good strap. I like to go for a nice black one though. I have a MB white face with a dark brown strap. Also have my TAG carrera with the black rubber strap which I dropped on the floor the other day and is not working now.
:-( I also got used to the Butterfly Clasp and would prefer that. And I honestly don't know the lug size.

Need suggestions, I got a Vacheron Const. Jubile 1755 SS white face and I've seen lots of pictures of PAM's posted and a nice strap makes a huge difference. I'm wandering what strap would make the VC jump and look even better. Any pics or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Here's my gen. its really nice; i'm not worried about the size. it wears big and
i only have a 7 3/8" wrist. i don't like the 44mm PAM s/s bracelets, especially the reps. they're too heavy and the finish is quite rough.
Thanks for the pic it look really good and your are right it does wear big and it looks rugged but fine at the same time.
I think my mind is 99% made up.

The only difference between PAM50 and 48 is that the latter goes with a leather strap while PAM50 goes with a SS bracelet.
Some pics of my PAM48.
- Old school PAM50 case and dial with lello's datewheel and cannon pin modding.
I like it, very nice with the leather strap looks good on wrist. Thanks

I'm looking into getting in a PAM. I currently have a Tag carrera rubber strap and a montblanc with leather strap. I'm looking for a nice SS bracelet watch but 44mm is too big for me then I saw this 40mm PAM.
I'm not into Rolex as I feel everyone has one. Does anyone own the PAM 050 that can show me wrist pics to see how it wears or tell me about it. I can also use some suggestions from all the experts here.
Thanks

I'm wandering if you know any reputable rep clothing dealers with good quality merchandise? I've used trevor store in the past and had great experiences but he changed manafaturers and the quality went down quite a bit, like to know of other options.
-
PS: I assume you meant a rep watch, but then I saw your comment about the Zenith and didn't know they had a rep of that, so are you talking gen or rep?
I'm talking REP, andrew has it now and looks great on fotos. The only reson I have not bought it yet (one of my favs all time) is because I want to read a review first from someone that has bought one.

VC Malte Chrono (40-41MM) is in my book one of the nicest dress reps around. Reliable Venus 175 copy movement that is not so different from the gen (which uses a Lemania based hand wind column wheel movement) and a very accurate dial. Looks super dressy with a glazed gator as I had on it when I had it. Wore it to a few black tie events and got many complements. Never got called out either obviously...
Now thats is a very good looking watch Great choice. I ordered the Tag H. Carreda with teh rubber strap, and I think your choice is a winner, also agree with other comments on the ICW's.
Thanks all!!

Like the title says, i'm now looking for a nice suit(dress watch) 42mm or smaller. So far I like the Zenith Open el primero. Also in my short list is Turbullion, but any other suggestions in that size? I like a lot of others but they are bigger.
-
I wanted to buy this watch ever sense I found out it got REP'd. Been waiting for a review but also looking a diffrent dealers I found the some have a Venus Asian movement and other have the Lemania copy hand winding chronograph movement. Like to know what is the diffrence between the two.
And if there anyone that has bought one what are your thoughts???
-
I would have to agree - plus you can change out every once in a while when you get tired of the look
I agree now, and will get it with the SS band. Just waiting to hear from some one who has purchased the watch and see pics and review. But this is the one I'll get

there are nice leather straps out there - but, if you want a real bad ass one- go to Aaron tan hktan - it will be worth it, i promise.
get a black, shiney, super thick dress strap. its BETTER than the zenith strap - and i just tried one on the other day. if you search and check out my tourbillon strap - the thickniss rocks
I did checked it out, very nice and very nice Tourby.. My other fav watch. But i like the strap clasp to be Zenith. Looks better IMO.
Like the thick and shinny look of yours though. I want to pull the trigger so bad but I want ti wait for a review, $388.00 is not chum-change.
Hopefully some will post one soon with pics.

here is my observation
1. rep leather straps generally suck
2. leather straps have poor resale value
therefore, always buy watches with a stainless steel band, buy your leather band the way you lilke. Then, when you resell the watch, it will be like new !
You make a very good point there. Where can I get a good quality copy of the Zenith leather strap?
-
This watch, if up to par, demands a HKtan super thick glossy black gator strap
Well I emailed Andrew and looks like no Zenith leather strap for a while. Is a shame I would buy it right now if it did. It seem like it shouldn't be that hard to do.
-
so, IMHO one of the best watches of the decade, the zenith open, has been repped - and it looks pretty good. other than the balance wheel not lineing up directly with the hole - its pretty cool.
i'd like to hear of teh quality, especially the dial and also if that gear is a balance wheel or just a gear, it looks like a gear, but if you look at other versions of that mov't thts where the balance wheel is.
and i haven't seen any topics on it. I go away for a few weeks and this whole place goes to crap?
I have the same question. I like to see the leather strap models as well always been my second fav. watch behind only the flying turbillion.

Can any of you recommend some nice ladies watches? Like to give to my girlfriend and I like to her what your experiences out there are with the best reps for ladies.
Thanks in advance!!

Here is my newbie experience:
I found RGW and was really glad, as I had been searching a good rep site and found many but could not trust any of them w/o seeing actual reviews and most reviews sites are owned by those same websites.
I did research for about a month and asked the members a few questions and they really helped. I made my first purchase from Andrew and the experience was great, watch was very high quality. I did get the wrong band, as I had ordered the brown and received the black but I didn't complaint because I like it as well. Then I got some cufflinks from Trevor and was also a great experience, fast shipping, great service.
I've now fallen in love with the white face Tourbullion so here I go again with some more research to see who has the best samples.

Adivise from anyone that has bought Montblanc watches and had good experiences. From what dealer? I looking to buy two but for daily use. Looked at Andrew's great selection, but I'm a newbe(not for long) and like your advise on other good dealers.

Newbie, read all the warnings about what not to post so I don't get flamed. Just looking for decent quality Zenith reps. Thanks in advance for all your help!!!!
