  1. I guess nobody expects to find no flaws but to understand what are the flaws then mod accordingly the watch to make it better. I am new here so maybe I've misunderstood the forum goal and policy. Perhaps I am mistaken but I believe that sharing pictures can also be informative on actual watch versions for the forum.
  2. I alredy ordered the DD wheels from Cousins to start my 1st project. Now I have to find a reputable modder in North America or EU. Congrats rhes4 yours is very nice.
  3. Thank you all for your precious help. It is lumed at 3,6,9 and 12. The seller told me it was a V2 What do you think? I am not an expert but markers at 3,6,9 are crooked. AR doesn't look that bad to me but beeing my 1st watch I'm not the best judge. I'd love to have my watch modded (relume and DD wheel swap) by Master The Zigmeister (since I am based in QC - Canada it would be even nicer) but I've read that is not available. Since I travel a lot to Europe I could have it modded in Europe too. Any suggestion in this regard? Thank You Again.
  4. I'm a newb and I would like you to help me to identify the flaws on this watch. Only markers at 3,6,9 are lumed. Thanks
  5. I'd like to swap day/date wheels on my IWC 3717. Does anybody have information about the watchsmith referenced by 92tru in Toronto or someone else in Ontario or Quebec. Thanks
  6. I've just bought a 3717 V2. It should come with the bad dial. As soon as I receive it I'll be able to tell how bed it is. In the meantime I'd like to understand if and where a 3717 V1 dial is available. Anybody can help me? Thank You
  7. thanks for your welcome. I will receive soon my IWC 3717 (V2). I am afraid it will be full of flaws. I am going to ask for your help once I receive it. Should I keep posting here or in the IWC area?
  8. Hi everyone. This is the frst time I post on a forum. Untill a month ago I was not particularly interested in watches. It has been your efforts, professionality and forum policy to convince me to buy my first watch and subscribe to this forum. I come from Europe but now I live in Canada. I started immediately ordering a IWC 3717 that I am waiting to receive. My english is not that good so I hope I won't have understanding problems. I have been reading your post for a few days and I had a few difficulties in understanding the abbreviations. I will keep reading posts and I believe I will post my first question very soon. Just want to sincerely thank you all for all the information that I already found in the different topics.
