    Hi.
    I currently have a gen calibre 79320, but with rep hands. The chrono seconds hand has slipped a couple seconds to the left and its bugging the **** out of me. my watch guy told me when he assembled the watch about 3 years ago that this might happen as he was having problems crimping it to fit as the metal was pretty weak. 
    anyone know where gen hand set can be sourced? or have a spare one(!? kinda longshot i know.)

    would be much grateful

    Oh boy, what a can of worms. :unknw:   You guys can do what you like as far as I am concerned, all know I am no prude. :crazy:  As I stated before I find it hard to argue for in the general forum and to paraphrase sentiment put forth by some  make it easy on the guys w/ kids or an overly jealous wife . :confused:  I have no dog in the hunt my bike is pretty tame and some long time members I consider friends have some shall we say interesting avatars along with some of our strongest supporters so I would tread carefully here gentlemen. :g: We can ill afford to lose anyone in numbers or support so turn down the testosterone on both sides there will be no winner except at the expense of RWG as a whole. :pimp:  Let us all just keep in mind this is a place we would like all our members to use in comfort so keep it on the low with the risque stuff in your general posts just to be nice! :inverted: We are a male centric board to say the least so I would venture better learn to live with the avatars.

    we're all adults here.. and lets face it, mostly men. and where men meet up there will be talk about women! i agree that this forum is about watches, but we talk about everyday stuff too.. putting restraints on the slightly less dressed avatars/signatures we have will put an end to a natural flow of conversation.. 

    the point about kids i get, but about wifes/Gfs ...no bikini never hurt anyone! if your at work /or in a situation where exposure of skin is inaproporiate, please turn off avatars.. dont ask the others to not post/change..

    wasnt this the same guy who about a year ago purchased a lot of reps and then claimed refund to his CC-company/paypal "his credit card had been missused/stolen" and the sellers lost their money? that tel-aviv / yonatan name rings a bell

    I know hikeusa Personally and am Working on a few watches of his, he's a stand up guy. What I don't understand you say he said its only been worn twice this does not imply that its in great shape it just mean its been worn twice. I could wear a watch twice and beat the [censored] out of it. 

    I have enjoyed reading hikes posts for many years, and i too believe he is a stand up guy. his offer for a full refund proves that. I also see that the community often is harsh with a newer members raising questions about deals with older members, and more often than not is that harsh respons to the newbie warranted. In this case i feel that the OP proposed the facts quite good - gave both a good description of what was the issue, and how it was proposed remedied - with a humble attitude.

    sometimes i like to take a step back and turn the situation around, what would be the forum consensus if the senior member was to receive "this case" from a junior member..

     

    side note, regardless of stated in this case or not:

    MD2020 ; "been worn twice" does not imply that its in great shape! ??.. come on man, thats horse manure!  :)

    please note that the portuguese uses a movement that has been modified from the original seconds running at 9 to seconds running at 6 (subdials) this makes the movement under go extra strain and your mileage on theese might vary a lot.. your best bet is to stay with a watch having the seconds running at 9, as that is what the original movement was designed to do. And please consider that any rep watch that you get might need service.

    is the LCD-screen also broken? -> if its only the front glass, it can be had (unoriginal) at 10$ on ebay, and it really is a 3minute job.. just the two screws on the bottom of the phone, and 3 wires (and a couple of screws to connect the lcdscreen to the outer glass) really simple and ifixit.com / youtube.com could teach you in a second :) 

     

    my ex gf broke her iphone 3 screen 4times, and i replaced it with fully working chineese rep parts from the bay :p worked like a charm back then..

    So am I rolexman, glad they at least had a go than avoid it due to opencaseback, too many people nitpicking inhouse movement details on rep movements these days or requesting only watches that have closed caseback because of same. We are gonna end up with a very selective set of closed caseback replicas if we go down that route exclusively. Open casebacks are only becoming the norm so as long as the front is good I'm happy with just a half decorated rotor. :)

     i agree. and if we take a reality check, such a small percentage of the population would know that it was a rep even if they were holding it in their own hands.. so more open casebacks for me! and my GF really loves them :)
