A domestic buy. Can I ask who is your supplier? Great looking panerai
there is a trading zone here on the forum.. see under "watches" on the main page. you can buy from other members that are parting with their pieces.

Hi and welcome.
why would you want a 70-80dollar replication of a 80-120dollar genuine casio edifice? that really makes no sense. in general; seiko and casio offer cheap watches (seiko have some more expensive models too, like spring drive) so there is no real market for replica seikos/casio...
hope you stick around, theres a great community here with a HUGE amount of knowledge. stay with the trusted dealers, and i would suggest u save up to the pricepoint of 120$ at least.. lots of great value watches to be had around that pricepoint.. like the "POrika". (search for it )
-cheers miagi.

no the stem would not have anywhere to go then
-
congrats on the new watch! looks awesome!
so the next days will be filled with 390 goodies popping up on the board
i thought that they had got a hang on the levers... my 328 lever is tight and good.

haha dont mess with customs had a US customs officer pulling jokes on me once, just smiled and answered politely... didnt dear to make jokes back

This was a really popular piece when it came out, as it was great value for money. As far as accuracy goes, it have many flaws, with the biggest being the 45mm-style bezel teeth ( the 42mm has "coinedge"bezel teeth). but for 100usd new it was good value

the amount of questions asked about "where to buy..." does indicate that the links should be easier to find. (should have a great big banner "use the search function, and take some days/weeks to read and learn before u buy" )

is your strap fully broken in? and you can try to use a bluckle with a different angle on the "hole-pin" and/or different pin-lenght.

i would only buy gens of watches that there arent any good reps of.. contemplating a longines legends diver now.. would love a rep of it, but its not overly expensive. other than that i find the inhouse movement point good.
-
i had a rep rubber that smelled quite bad. i rubbed it in with toothpaste and washed it thoroughly, worked quite well..
my panerai rubbers smelled quite noticeable of vanilla when new.

tried concepta? (dunno if hes in the business anymore) or texski? didnt they provide the iwc goodies?
edit; oh and love the watch!
-
great watches! congrats and wear them well!
cheers miagi

i might stand corrected, but they are what they are for a reason ?
-
and be advised that chinese new years makes getting a package from china during mid january to early/mid february very slow.
-
yes its correct. now as this is kind of secret, id advice you to edit your post to a big happy smiley face
atleast take out any urls or other infringing information about the procedure
cheers miagi

wow! now thats horology! thanks for sharing

that world timer looks awesome i agree
-
yes that where they're found
a little heads up; the chineese new year is coming up .. basicly they all shut down over there during their holliday, so this means u have some good time to select what model u want and read up on important info about whatches/brands/movement/models. as you are in the market for a panerai, head over to the panerai section and check it out. lots of good stuff there.. there are some really accurate reps that came out the last 6months or so... 005, 111, 328/312 , 359, 390(just now), 177 127 and many many more pams... its been a great year for them.
-
only you can deside. although i would def not buy all three at once.. you have to get straps for them too, you know
-
Hi welcome to the forum you'll see that we have a trusted dealer section here (some way down on the main page). its strongly recommended that you use one of these, as there are so many scam-sites out there.
advice on the way; take some time to browse the forum and read up on your desired watches, maybe get some input for other choices too. Get familiar with this site, and it wont let you down.
payment methods are listed on the by the trusted dealers on their respective homepage.. mostly paypal.
cheers

I highly respect Robs opinion. How many hundreds of Pam 112 have been sold without problems. Also,, Rob recommends
servicing your new watches, which i will have this serviced right away...

thats a good point
Reps discussed on gen forum...almost balanced opinion!

interesting read. and glad to see that it was allowed to be discussed, and that there were some good balanced opinions. not common for a gen forum.. funny how they usually fear us that much. im guessing without the rep foras there would be a lot of fakes on their wrist..bought in good faith on ebay.
