on a gen 127 cg when you look closely its tiny square dots and not round dots at the end of REG and between the TM

i dont care about the watch, just the cg, a real 127 cg has little squares for the dots on the crown guard, on the reps it has round dots

heres a tid bit, if you have a fully frankened fiddy with a 117 caseback, who can say its a rep , im saying all gen : bezel crystal cg crown dial and hands mov very hard to say not gen

but 492 doesnt fit the EL v4 i beleive

I'll be honest guys , this is what happens, you want these gen parts and no one can get them and all of a sudden they all pretty much show up at the same time lol and expensive but I feel an EL deserves it so I will be eating Ramon noodles for a while. Lol

I was lucky and caught it at 1500$ but these easily go for 1600 and up now

np mate, if you can wait it out it would be better in the long run...but if you have cash burning in your pocket and see a franken 127, then go for it at least all the work and wait is already done

I wish , I'm going the franken route and just the dial is over 1000$ but I get what you are saying a 1000$ rep but problem is that not alot of ppl out there like you so the dealers gotta sell to the masses but for 1000$ u can find some really nicely modded pams in the sales section

there is no super rep of the 127 or 217 right now, theres hope and rumours but none, all you can get now is dsn or other dealers, the only way to get an EL is on the used market and they rarely go for sale and go for a hefty sum, 700-800$ with no mods and even then you might not get the best version, so if you want to spend 300$ or so just get a dsn or other dealer and it will be a watch you will like

Yes u r right bit u could actually take and put the movements in from the back so not true front loading If the cases are to gen spec 127 then the casebacks from A will most probably fit v3 and v4 of El 127
