Yup, reviews and pictorials certainly make the decision easier, but I've never bought a watch that I've not considered purely based on a review.

Well, the topic title is a bit wrong, because I have actually less watches now than the last time I posted. I've sold a few the last month or so, and only bought a couple.. Anyways. Here's an update:

$150 is cheap yes, but when WO-Mart is selling many of the 2824 watches at between $140 and $150, he must have a margin. And with a group buy the dealer would still be left with a margin. But of course, if the marnufacturor is more expensive on this particular watch, then $150 is not a probable target. But, if Paul has the same watch for $159, $150 should do. I'm no expert in watch comparisons, so I'll leave that to the pro's. But it would be nice to compare the two.

Isn't $150 more a price to aim for? The 2824 isn't an expensive movement, and there are many reps with it that go for around that price. Is there anything special about it that makes it more expensive?

Neil, that is a stunning watch. I bought the 40mm version, but its way to small, I can barely see what time it is. Anyone know if there is something in between? BTW, I ordered the SMP Chrono from you, but the payment was rejected. Did you find out why your brother rejected it?
