Now will you shut up about the moon landings?

Australia is expensive sadly but if you ask the US sellers to ship to Australia - many will do it but force you to pay for EMS shipping with tracking which can be $50. I have seen some go for around the $1.3K mark recently (no boxes or papers) but I have to admit, you should try to pick these up sooner rather than later - they are climbing in price.
I recall seeing these go for ~$900 about 5 years ago but they are now in the above price range.
I wish I knew!
But its overall a decent rep - crown screws down. Bezel clicks per original.
Caseback engraved not etched.
Usual tells is the dial doesn't have "swiss made" and I believe, I think, that its a touch bigger than the original in terms of size

here's what I would do:
1) remove all power from the mainspring (assuming this is already the case)
2) remove the balance
3) then wind the watch and see if the pallet fork is doing its job
4) test the pallet fork but pushing it from one side to another, the pallet fork should "jump" to one side and another which pushes.
