  1. read this sht http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/166374-tudor-9411-build-completed/?hl=%2Btudor+%2B9411
  2. lol also just noticed that it is Euro 135 vs. GBP 105 Do you even do math, mate?
  3. Will fit but that version's pearl will not glow.
  4. Never had to pay import charges so not sure? I have purchased watches with custom declaration of $2K and no issues...
  5. knowledge is powerful Now will you shut up about the moon landings? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MythBusters_(2008_season)#Episode_104_.E2.80.93_.22NASA_Moon_Landing.22
  6. empty vessels make the most noise No one cares where you got your degree from - it doesn't mean anything. NOW - Can we please stop feeding the troll?!
  7. this won't be easy - unless you use decals for the text - trying to paint around that won't be easy
  8. Australia is expensive sadly but if you ask the US sellers to ship to Australia - many will do it but force you to pay for EMS shipping with tracking which can be $50. I have seen some go for around the $1.3K mark recently (no boxes or papers) but I have to admit, you should try to pick these up sooner rather than later - they are climbing in price. I recall seeing these go for ~$900 about 5 years ago but they are now in the above price range.
  9. genuine omega SMP though I would say on the high side bearing all the marks and no box and papers I think you can get better shaped ones for $1300
  10. I wish I knew! But its overall a decent rep - crown screws down. Bezel clicks per original. Caseback engraved not etched. Usual tells is the dial doesn't have "swiss made" and I believe, I think, that its a touch bigger than the original in terms of size
  11. 16600 on the caseback?? I think lug says 16613 or 16618?
  12. markings are all wrong - not sure why anyone would choose this over TC?
  13. Decided to add some plonguer hands to the Seamaster 300...then went diving with this last week in Bali! I really like it - what do you guys think?
  14. A 2824 dw will not fit It sits too high as well as it's too wide (partially blocks the dial feet fitting into the holes)
  15. looks like gen hands too? great build!
  16. read this thread - I do a pretty good breakdown of what you need.... http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/166374-tudor-9411-build-completed/?hl=%2Btudor+%2B9411#entry1305833
  17. here's what I would do: 1) remove all power from the mainspring (assuming this is already the case) 2) remove the balance 3) then wind the watch and see if the pallet fork is doing its job 4) test the pallet fork but pushing it from one side to another, the pallet fork should "jump" to one side and another which pushes.
  18. SSTEEL is right the click spring is not put in properly or missing completely
  19. that crystal is a "serviced out" 295. There is a chip on the bottom towards the 26/27 min mark. not worth the real of value of a new gen crystal...
  20. Nanuq, Can you point to me who is this Mary person with the folded bracelet pls?
