I love that Pelagos. It's got a clean and classic look to it. Has anyone figured out a price?
-
That insert looks nice.

I may be overly suspicious but I always wonder why somebody becomes so upset over a microscopic detail in a movement on a closed case watch. We all have our pet peeves but this OP's reaction is a little extreme and very odd.
-
It just looks like they are trying to do too much with one watch.
-
I've got my BK TW sub on the way. I'm in about week 8. If you don't mind me asking (and even if you do) what did you have to pay for the gen insert and gen crystal? Your watch looks fantastic and I bet the photos don't even do the genuine crystal justice.
-
Thanks for the detailed pictures Snpr. Does anyone have a blue dial on order? I'm anxious to see if the color is close to the gen.
-
Do you have any pictures of it next to the watch with TC's crystal installed? I'd like to see the two side-by-side.

That's a great looking 243. Is that the H Factory version? I'm still waiting on my N Factory watch...stock has been delayed.

Buy BK's DSSD. It's $430.
-
Cartier...in solid gold of course.

Taking a quick look and comparing to the pics at Breitling.com it looks that the lugs are shaped differently, the crown is wrong, the lume dots should have black outlines, and as previously the caseback is wrong. This model doesn't seem to even have a display back!
Thats all?

I'm not a big gold watch guy but I love that gold/strap combination. What size is that watch head?

Andrew is the best at communicating and getting back to you promptly with answers to any and all questions. He'll also flat out tell you if a particular rep is no good. He's always been my preferred TD.

...or Ron Jeremy

Thanks for taking the time to do complete the review. it looks nice but a gen insert is a must...that stock pearl is hideous.
-
Mine looks like its out for delivery. Unfortunately I'm out of town and will have to wait until tomorrow for pictures.
That's great news it's on the way.
-
Has anyone received their watch from TC? I'm looking forward to multiple pictures.
-
Guys, please keep the details to yourself. Is better
I guess it's hush...hush...now that there is activity on the USPS website. Thanks for the help.

Hmm looks like TC's gf has been sending orders for those outside of the US. My tracking is still in the label creation stage (mine is a US order).
How do you know it's his GF?

Guys, one thing that this forum allows for is annonimity. I suggest that we all stop trying to vengfully look into this guys life and wait. He has created a buzz like no other and it makes sense that for now we all just chill a little. TC comes up with a great idea, take a multitude of pieces from different vendors to create another option for rep lovers. he may have come to us a little early, he may have been eager to show his findings, but is that a reason to bash a busy man? Plus, he is not a watchmaker from my understanding this is still a new field for the guy. I suggest we all cool our jets and let him get his thoughts together.
I'm certainly not trying to vengefully look into TC's life. However, I would just suggest that we all exercise a little extra caution before we pee all over ourselves. There seem to be several new members with few to no previous posts posting for the first time to defend TC and his work on this board and on other boards. I spend very little time posting on this particular board but I am active on other boards. I just find it odd that all of a sudden new members are posting out of the blue to defend TC. Further, this is certainly not a "new field" for TC. His pictures and detailed posts clearly demonstrate that this is not his first experience with the replica watch world. His presentation through various posts is a very clear and calculated process to generate interest in his new product(s). With that said I
agree that what we should do (and all we really can do) is wait and see if he delivers.

I things are what I think, he may not be able to reply to pm and emails
Sent from my SGH-i917 using Board Express
I'm sorry. I don't understand.
-
I wonder how many different members from all the various boards have orders placed with him? He may just be terribly overwhelmed but you would think he could respond to at least one PM or email.

Greetings, About a week ago, I contacted TC and asked him to build me a 16610 when he when he was able. I sent TC a paypal payment, which went to an aerospace company in the U.S.. I don't know much about aerospace companies, but I'll bet all of the money we have sent TC is chump change compared to the parts he sells through his business. I really doubt he is trying to scam us. He probably went to China to source some parts for his business, and found some really good rep 16610 stuff while there. He may just be overwhelmed by our emails. We need to be patient.
Finally...somebody with less posts than me on RWG. Oldtools, is TC in aerospace sales? Did he send you anything to confirm your order? No matter what happens it looks like there is a great new case for future builds. I don't remember hearing he was making another trip to China but that would be great.

I think this Wm9 v4 or whatever you want to call it is a great find and I hope all outstanding TC orders are ultimately received by happy buyers. However, do we really believe that TC is not doing this to make money? I personally don't believe that all of the pictures and detailed posts are just for the good of community. There is absolutely nothing wrong with making money for providing these goods and I have a hard time believing this a non-profit venture. I may be wrong...but probably not.
New Tudor watches: Tudor Pelagos and Tudor Black Bay
in The Rolex Area

That's what I get for posting before reading the entire thread. $4k isn't bad at all when compared to some of the new Rolex subs.
