What disappoints me the most is not the wonderful theories you espouse but rather finding out you are in the UK, so presumably British. I have been chuckling away assuming you are one of those crazy American we all know and love - but it is possible you are English. So I feel the need to speak up. I have purchased a couple of PO's over the last six months. Both needed fixing for the same problem. I think this is the second or third time it has been raised during this time so it sounds like it is a bad batch. I hope it is sorted because, as you say, it is a $300+ watch and we shouldn't have problems like this.

Agreed - it took around 3 months for each of them.

I have had to send two back to Josh over the last couple of years. Both arrived as they should but did take some time. You do have to chase Josh to confirm he has received it. For me everything worked - just slowly, So don't give up hope.

I'm with you on this krpster. I don't post that often but I do go to this forum twice per day. I have also been on the end on an attack by a member on this forum where a number of people jumped on the bandwagon berating me - until I gave my side of the story, at which point the attitude changed. So I agree, hear both sides before jumping to conclusions and just becomes someone has posted more than I have doesn't mean that he is not an asshat!

I think my colleagues may have thought you were pranking them. For what it's worth, this watch sells for around $1,000 (I looked it up). Replica watches (clones) sell for anything between $100 and $900. Modded or franken (with genuine parts) watches can go for up to $5,000. As a result you are very unlikely to find a replica/clone of a watch of this sort of value. In addition, this site is a huge repository of information and the search function is your friend. It will also take you to trusted dealers where you can peruse the watches available. It is up to you to make some efforts in this area because you are simply asking someone else to do your research - which might be considered a bit unreasonable. Asking for advice after you have made some effort is welcomed, someone is always willing to help. You're welcome!

Welcome fella, your best friend will be the Search function. Explore the site and you'll find answers you are looking for. What's best for one person is a problem for someone else so you need to work out what's best. The dealers supply watches from the same factories so quality is pretty consistent. Choose your seller before you choose the watch. If I told you what I thought the best watch you should get and you didn't like it - then you'd blame me - so I won't . Keep reading - and welcome!

A common one at the moment is a DHL scam. You receive an email saying they tried to deliver at 10.10 and because they couldn't deliver you need to open the zip file. I got caught by this - but couldn't open the zip file because I don't have this on my laptop. I rang DHL to get some clarity and they told me this is a scam. So, having a steam powered laptop worked for me this one time!

You've probably gathered that other members are not seeing what you are seeing - so you have two choices: Accept the watch as it is, or decline and ask for another Your choice - but don't expect an improvement on what you have. You are being too picky and you are publishing the picture - which most dealers ask you not too. Eventually dealers won't sell to you because it is too much hassle - and therefore expensive. As the heading says I need a crown guard screw for a Pam 029. I noticed the crown guard was hanging loose this morning. Does anyone have one I can purchase - as I don't want to take the risk of wearing it without the extra screw. Thanks Marky
