Are you are referring to the mobile version of RWG accessed from mobile safari? I get that too. My workaround is to switch to full site mode.

Just two observations. I started using Tapatalk in the last 2 weeks to access the forum.

The first is that I notice that if I set Auto Refresh to Always, my IP gets banned for awhile for suspicious activity... The auto-refresh was probably view as a DOS attack? Seems to go away when I set Auto Refresh to 15 mins.

The second is that if I post or reply to any thread, I am not subscribed to it as I normally am when I am when I'm using a browser.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

So mrs nakortheblue needs a new ultra-compact point-and-shoot to replace her aging Canon IXUS 70. It has to be light and thin - it will be in her handbag on a daily basis.

Mostly for taking photos of food (she's a die-hard foodie) and social occasions. I'll probably also use it occasionally for watch photography.

After reading a few reviews, I've more or less settled on Sony's DSC-TX1 which has the new Exmor R sensor which seems to be the best for the category.

My main concern is low light photography which are generally a weakness for ultra-compacts. Some reviews say the TX1 is very good at low light, others say that it is mediocre.

If you have a TX1, please share your experience here.

I think I was quoted $550 for bezel + bezel insert about a year ago. The rest of the assembly will probably cost another $100-200, I guess.

I've got 2yo son. I find that watching kids' shows (mostly Playhouse Disney) with him and relating to the shows in songs and phrases helps bonding, rather than letting him watch TV alone.
