  1. I would go for an SMP, you can sometimes pick one up if you shop around!
  2. Wow, it really is a great rep this one, I wouldn't have known which one was the gen if I had been shown the photo!
  3. The reason I first started out in reps was because I could buy a 95% accurate piece for 10% of the price.
  4. Congratulations Lani, that is a very fine looking Rolex, you have one of the most incredible collections, I'd love to see a shot of it!
  5. Currently on my internship up in the midlands now, the SMP certainly looks nice under the suit! I have spotted an IWC Breitling and another Omega so far, oh and a few Rollies
  6. There is a discussion on another thread, they did make the AP ROO with this date surround apparently, so it looks like this is even more accurate than first thought
  7. If you eliminate toll roads, then this may have the opposite affect as it makes travelling cheaper. Therefore more people will be able to use such roads and therefore it could increase the number of road users, instead of opting for alternative methods of travel. A policy on turning of ones engine would be sufficient to prevent people sitting in car parks eating their food. It's not the drive throgh service that creates the problem, it's peoples lack of awareness. I would suggest making it more beneficial to people to opt for cheaper to run cars. Tax incentives and cuts on more efficient cars, placing a higher rate of tax on SUV's, which are pointless in my opinion for the average person! Not only is it the type of car that one drives, but also the way in which they drive it. Some kind of educational flyer or campaign etc... would be very beneficial in order to teach people how to get the most from their petrol. I have seen recently that Honda has developed a Hydrogen powered car which will be leased to a minority of people in the coming years. perhaps this could be the revolution that we are waiting for, what it will do to the economy and political make up of the world, I dont know....
  8. This is great news, maybe it was a an older transitional model that they made! Looks like it isn't such a big flaw after all, maybe just a model based on an older gen?
  9. Beautiful pics Lani, a must have for any ROO fan!
  10. Owning a timepiece of such quality is not all about brandishing it about in public most people could care less. It's about owning a finely tuned, beautifully crafted watch. It's like buying a Ferrari and driving at the weekends, and having a nice run around during the week. . If you buy a watch to impress others, I think this says a lot! If you judge people on how they look and what scenario they are in, and allow materialistic ownership to help you define people i.e. the book cover, then you will miss out on the finer things in life my friend, and I feel sorry for you.
  11. Nice purchase, as an owner of an SMP too, I concur that for the money it is one of the best (if not the best) watch that you can buy in the second hand market!
  12. I like it, if Im honest I personally think it would suit the black SOH better, but it looks nice on the brown version too! Gives it a nice sporty look!
  13. What do you mean in the same bracket......the rep bracket is all the same, if it's not real, it's a replica. The only difference between you and him is that you called him out, and you have the better replica. Pretty poor way to do things if you ask me! I can't really see why you would call someone out on a replica when you yourself are wearing one, I can't see the point even if you were wearing a genuine......
  14. Congratulations, that is one of the nicest reps out at the moment!
  15. Im not usually a fan of bling, but I think it really suits this watch!
  16. Nice comparison! It is a stunning watch!
  17. When you take a back seta on this forum, it is incredible to see how many threads come to this childish swapping of internet words. Shalll we get back to discussing the AP now, and you can continue on another thread, or PM?
  18. Some excellent pictures there Lani, wear it well!
  19. Congratulations, the genuine is in my eyes a far cry from the reps, I have never come across one that has the fit and finish and the genuine look. Can leave this in a box for safe keeping and wear it on special occassions!
  20. They are much better than they used to be. Overall the Swiss from a factory sealed is still a better movement. However, if you have the new one serviced it will be just as reliable as a Swiss movement
  21. Excellent review, nice to see another improvement as far as out of the box Sub's go!
  22. looks great!! I really have to get one of these!
  23. I believe it was removed due to technical reasons
  24. That's a pretty good replica, do you know what movement is in there?
