  2. Pending pics, put me down for 2
  3. Tag Heuer datewheels are the same as Swiss 7750 date wheels. You can get these from Cousins in the UK, and also Ofrei I believe. A gen dial wouldn't solve any spacing issues, the gen uses a 7750 (not sure if it is slightly different) so the sub dials will be positioned the same as the rep.
  4. I have a UPO and a 44mm Pam (005) The Panerai wears larger than the UPO, and technically it is smaller, the CG on the side adds extra presence to the watch. So a 127 will wear a fair bit larger than a UPO. Don't be put of by it though, the 127 is a beautiful looking watch, something quite unique!
  5. Point noted, thanks CC. I have sent the company an email, stating that they are watch crystals and the requirement, Il see what they come back with.
  6. Yes the GST is a very very good replica, there is only one way I can tell the rep from the gen, and that's the text positioning.
  7. Ok so far we have 10 interested parties. It's only been up for a few hours so Il contact them tomorrow and see what they say. I think at this rate we could easily muster 20 crystals. Il keep everyone updated.
  8. Ok, I have been browsing the internet looking for companies who might offer an AR coating in the EU/UK. I have come across this company..... http://www.diamondcoatings.co.uk/products4.html#products I haven't made contact with them as yet, but if there is enough intereset it may be worth approaching them I don't have the equipment to measure crystals to ensure everyone receives the correct crystal etc... and neither do I have the time. If there is anyone who would be willing to conduct a group AR service and make contact with the company if there is interest, then it would be of great benefit to our community. If it turns out that the company doesn't provide the service then I have found a couple of other firms who might be willing to do so, but from the website this looked the most promising B16a2
  9. Wearing the Omega GMT today Then the Panerai tomorrow
  10. I believe also there was an issue with 3. Selling 'serviced watches' that hadn't been anywhere near their 'swiss trained watchsmiths' 4. Replacing a watch with a cheaper version, and keeping the difference because the buyer was none the wiser.
  11. Very very nice pics there Laz! What a lucky man, a lovely girl, and lovely scenery, oh and I almost forgot about the watch!! I just sold my white SOSF to a frined, and was tempted by the asian version in black, but after seeing the AR appearance over the black dial, I would have to go for the Swiss vesion. On the strap it looks awesome!
  12. Nice collection and a beautiful set of photo's!!
  13. Would look good in there that's for sure! Great choice! The BCE is a beautful piece, and will certainly add to your nice collection! Did you go with the Asian 7750? Have you a link that you could PM me of this watch? Il have a look, as I have the Breitling catalogue here.
  14. Not if I get there before you Only kidding That is a very enviable collection, great variety!!
  15. I don't have a link, but I do remember sometime ago that ther was an open admission to a cartel by one of them. Now whether this was meant as tongue in cheek, it remains to be proven, but a few months ago such a thing didn't look impossible, and it still doesn't. Ok so it's just business..... No it isn't. The forum is here to protect US, not THEM. Selling a B&R with a movement not as described, providing unserviced watches that are meant to be serviced, and also a members dad who had a replacement sent, but it was a cheaper model, with no refund.....Sound honest....??? A mistake. Pull the other one, they've been doing this for years, they know an Asian from an ETA, they know whether a watch has been serviced There is a reason for businesses to merge, it's to monopolise the market, thus placing pressure on competitors. Now other collectors here have a loyal fanbase, so I am sure that they will never be lost, but merely the implication of this possible cartel is not in OUR interest. Now I don't have PROOF that it is in existence, but an open admission...rang some bells for me. I have dealt with Joshua, over a year ago, it was flawless. I wouldn't buy from wither now, my trust in them has been lost. Good businessmen, yes, trusty businessmen, I am not so sure anymore.
  16. Thought I recognised the name! Welcome to RWG - the best of them all
  17. It's only the movement that is different on the BCE. Same case and everything else.
  18. Sorry was completely obliivious to the topic area, clicked on it from 'view new posts' wwithout looking In that case, none other than my third love.....SMP Chrono
  19. It's an Omega weekend for me.... Since receiving this I haven't worn anything else, so it's the GMT for the next two days The Il wear the SMP Chrono on Sunday
  20. I have only really just started out in taking watches apart but Im pretty sure there is one?
  21. I can feel a another good PM discussion coming on here Teejay lol
  22. Pull the crown out to its extended postition. Then with a screwdriver roughly the same size as the nodule, place a lightish but firm pressure and just pull the corwn straight out. When re-inserting I have never had any problems, just gently eased it back in.
  23. Jumped the gun a bit in my post Looking forward to the results!
