I just got an Aqua Terra rep a few days ago with the ETA 2892 movement. I noticed when I try to manually wind it, it gets "stuck" frequently. I can get it to wind smoothly for maybe one revolution or less, then it seems to get jammed and resistant to further winding. If I turn the crown breifly in the opposite direction (in an attempt to get it "unstuck" and try again, it does the same thing, randomly getting jammed and "crunchy" when I try to wind it further.
I don't think it's over wound because it shouldn't be possible, and also because this happens even if I try to wind it after it's been sitting around for a while. Also, I've been winding it in a slow motion as I've read about in the knowledge database.
Anyone else have experience with this? Is this typical of the 2892 movement? Does this signify that the watch mechanism is bad? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.
