Greetings The Zigmeister: I'm using white vinegar now to disolve a broken stem in a crown. I've had it in the vinegar solution for 4 days with barely no results. Am I doing something wrong? Regards, Mike

Thanks for the thoughts. The movements came to me with broken stems that I have to source. I'll check with Ofrei. Anybody have a another source in case Ofrei can only sell me the complete movement?

Greetings All: I need a new stem and crown for my Shanghai SB1ZZ movement. I also need stems for my DB 2813 movements. Is there a place to get parts or do I have to buy complete new movements? If I need to, where can I buy a new SB1ZZ movement, or will a stem from another movement fit? Any advice breatly appreciated. Regards, Mike
