Nice box...... *LOL*
-
To fix all those flaws in one month is highly unlikely.
Who would expect that?
All we talked about was the improved rehaut.
-
Just look at it.
This is DEFINITELY NOT the same watch.
As I already said... he mixed up some of the pics.
But wgaf about what's written there?
They updated the old listing with new pics. Simple as that.
The description was updated as well.
-
This one was already reviewed and dismissed here last year. It came out in Dec.
I don't think so.
The rehaut on this one actually looks way better.
-
Yes, that's the one.
He even mixes pics from the crappy older version with those of the updated watch.
-
The crystal still doesn't quite look like it should.
-
Hmm.... sounds like an Ofrei group order to me...
I assume these pearls are a direct fit for MBW inserts?
If so, I might be in for two.
If ordering some Omega parts along would be possible, that is.
-
Here's a pic of my old one:
Which at least I think looks better overall.
So far no need for me to get the new one.
-
Gent's can I ask what all the fuss is about here? Because I'm just not feeling this watch. I don't get the Historic Dial and hands mixed with a modern case.
I'm 100% with you.
Pretty disappointed after following that link.
I thought it was about a new version of the 064/087
But hey.... glad you all like it that much.
-
Don't feed the miserable troll.....
-
Judging from those pics, the old "noob EX II" would have a hard time to keep up with this new one.
I think I'll get me one.
-
How did I know we would run into one of those "I took my rep to the AD and they didn't spot it" stories...
I guess it ends just here then.
-
What do you wanna hear from me?
You're looking for that "perfect" rep?
This is reminding a bit of "Who has the best sub?"
I think you still have plenty of homework to do.
There is no such thing like "the perfect piece".
Whether you can pass it as a "gen" or not always depends on who you come across with it.
Simple as that.
And no... I wouldn't say I'm an expert. I just lived and learned.
So should you.
-
Then how many seconds would it take you if I found you on the street and handed the rep to you with no gen to compare against? Still 1 sec?
Yes. Probably even less.
After all... one opening of the lever and one turn of the crown would be enough.
I own gen and rep. I could tell one from another in the dark (no... not because of the lume.... )
-
teach me dude
Caseback engravings, movement engravings, movement screws, crown, crown guard finish, and no.... it wasn't for those
little stickers covering the S/N's. In fact I noticed these after some of the details that simply SCREAM "gen".
The factory nearly nailed it with the current pieces. But "side by side" it's still obvious.
-
About one second.
Gen on the left.
-
I initially ordered the noob 111m but it's out of stock so I ended up ordering the new 104i. I should have it by mid. next week.
Good choice.
-
I'd say "B" is gen.
The dial just looks so much better.
-
Nice watch.
But I don't think it's necessary to show that shipping address in public.
-
BTW.. That new LV looks pretty darn good..eh?
Oooh yes... it does.
-
This is just me, but if the price is right, I'd go for it.
Just because it has all the features I'd look for in a 16570:
- good date window position
- NO rehaut engraving
- nice dial
- lug holes
- it's WHITE
IMO all the rest could be fixed afterwards.
-
Another thread which is totally useless without PICS.....
-
Is this normal and the same on gen?
I have seen gen 16613 inserts that looked exactly like this one.
Other ones had a very light gold colour. Much lighter than the watches gold parts.
So it would be correct either way, with the lighter gold tone looking better though
-
Or maybe its the lighting that affects the photos.
That's exactly what it is.
Everything else but silver hands would be SOO wrong.

With all the bashing going on I would like to say: At least they're working on it.
I almost feared this model would be neglected by the factories in favor of all the innumerable Big Bang crap and
15ish obnoxious RO Offshore versions each week.
Patience is part of the game.
So let's wait and see.
