  1. Aloha everyone. Have been admiring all of your watches for a couple of years now. I have a couple og Breitlings and a U-BOAT. I am looking for a B&R 03-92 now. Am hoping to get this one customized like the one pman posted.

  2. The watch is an Ajoesmith case. The PVD looks very close to the gen. Not shiny, but matte. Kent Parks lume. And Chief double sided AR. Here's a shot from my iPhone. I hope you like....

AJ, I saw this BR03-92 here

I was thinking about gettion one like it. Do you have another. Contact Ed at hifive0@ear...

  3. Well I finally did it... broke the crystal on my U-BOAT-010. It sure as hell is a big enough target. Playing with my 10 year old daughter and managed to break it without damaging the face or movement. Anyone know if replacement crystals are in my future. This was only my second rep so far and I am not at all sure if replacement crystals are even available. The worst part is that it had been in a box for almost a year- have not worn it that much- it is a humongous watch; but recently from a dead battery. So yesterday I rand down to Bi-Mart and got a new battery- today I break it. hmmph! Any ideas on getting a crystal? Thanks, Ed
  4. Just joined the forum and the Intro/Discussion area before coming here. I have been looking for a good B-2 rep. Does anyone make a good one? Also, I have read the By-tor review on the Navitimer two-tones. are the pics in the review all from Breitling or are they the genuine replica deal ? Does anyone know where he bought the one he was so impressed with? It looks like a winner? Thanks, Ed
  5. Just wanted to make intros all around before visiting the forums. I am not sure where to start; but since this is a watch forum... I remember my mom buying me my first watch at the PX back in about 67. It was a nondiscript 24 hour watch with a nylon strap and green case... But that is all I remember about it. Over the next year or two my only interest in time was trying to get one of those nifty watch keychains or watch lighters out of the .25 cent gumball type machines. Then one day my mom took me to the mall at Ala Moana in Honolulu. We went into a jewelry store and I spotted this Diver watch from Seiko Huge face heavyweight with buttons and chrono timers everywhere. Mom said OK and for years I had a thing for Seiko divers. Owned 3-4. Also stuck with Seiko dress watches. A few yeas ago 5 maybe, I got an eyefull of a B-2 Breitling and new I had to have one. I searched everywhere and could not get one in my price range- it seemed a little silly as they are a Pro Pilot watch and I was sure that if I bought a rep I would be spotted by a real pilot and laughed out of the concourse. Still, I had to have one. I seached again and could not find one that looked that good- mostly poor quality fakes. I settled on one of the Blue Face Bentley reps. It worked well as a daily wear watch for a couple of years though the timer failed to reset almost immediately. Then last year it stopped. I replaced the battery and it worked for a short time; then failed, and I think through threw the second hand. I started agin this morning looking for a replacement. I am still hot for a good B-2; but am also interested in the Navitimer "two-tone review" that was reviewed by By-Tor. Looks good as well. Since I am new I will ask here for any Breitling fans cruising this forum: Q: Who makes a good B-2? Where are they from? Thanks and it is great to be here. Ed
