The bracelet is pretty easy to size if you have an eyeglass screw driver (and for what you pay to get it resized you could buy a set).  Just remove both screws per link on the pro2 bracelet and pull the link apart, reassemble in reverse with however links out you need removed.

I would say your AD is selling reps.

If I didn't know the AD I would say the same thing.  One of the pearls had to be sticking 2/3 out of the bezel was afraid it was going to fall out.

The "Keeper" is the little circle of leather that holds the long end of the strap.  The pictured strap has 2, one is removable one is not.  I have the integrated strap on my po and it has no keepers because on the omega clasp the long end of the strap goes under the deployant not over like the hirsch.  The hirsch clasp would be perfect for that strap though.

Looked at 3 crPO's at the AD the other day and they all had slightly different placement, and a couple of the old po's had HORRIBLE placement.

3 issues with that strap on deployant, 1. you dont want a band with a fixed keeper, 2 you'll see the notched cutout for the buckle, 3 the strap holes are way too large for the deployant and wont be held secure... 4. it may be too thick to fit in the deployant well.

Just checked tracking on mine, inbound out of customs an hour ago... should have it tomorrow.

I just swapped the movement on my 219, it was a member purchase and arrived broken (center wheel/cannon pin). It really wasn't that bad but the 219 had the dial feet ground off and no dial dots, can only assume thats what broke the cw. Hands ended up working fine even though I bought a 111 set based on seeds posts. Used dial dots to secure the dial and its working great.

go to timezone forums or watchuseek, there is a guy there that sells GEN boxes for about $75 shipped. It does not include warranty cards though.

Not yet J/A took all stock from the first batch... He's hoping this week.

If everything else is fine a new dial is no big deal. Someones getting that watch, hopefully with a new dial... Its not like where dealing with sony and they will scrap it.

177 uses the low beat movement which is louder and less reliable.

Honestly, it's somewhat of a pain in the ass... May be a one time thing we'll see. Unless I find just the right leather and want something different, there are too many affordable strap makers that do an excellent job.

After 3 days I finished a baseball (softball actually) glove strap. My wife is big time into softball and this band is made from one of her childhood gloves thats been ripped but was still in our garage. It's for my wifes PVD Pam, and it turned out pretty well (or at least she likes it). This strap is probably the softest most flexible strap I've ever felt and came out a stout 4.2mm thick and is single hole punched to fit her wrist. I'm on the lookout for a pvd buckle to match but the brushed looks ok for now.

Might is slightly misaligned as well, just need to heat it, then reglue it in the correct position.

Ordered the latest 42mm Planet Ocean from Angus and received it Friday, immediately took off the bracelet and put the gen rubber on. I had plans on ordering some gen parts but honestly after receiving it I'm happy with it as it.

I'm waiting on a gen integrated strap from the 2011 line but they have been on backorder for weeks.

Does it have the SeaNaster clasp?
