  1. I have seen the ETA repair tutotial. I will change the DW anyway. what other wheel is most probalby broken? Are the missing teeth the reason why only some days do work?
  2. That is really not good news. I should probably find someone to fix it and service the watch. What should I expect in terms of complexity and costs? thanks
  3. Hello, The Tag Heuer Carrera I have is giving me some problems: despite it keeps perfect time, despite it resets perfectly, the datewheel gets stucked. At first it was only missing a half a day, for about 3 days a month. Now it goes ok for about a week/month and the rest is just stucked. I wanted to change the DW to get rid of this problem but I'm not sure it's the only issue. If I change the DW, is this the one i should get http://watchpart.co.uk/valjoux-7750-date-ring-oclock-window-black-white-p-943.html? Please help me get it look great again.
  4. Hello I have found the attached image of a watch on a site. I love skeletonized watches and I'm looking forward to buying one. Yet, I haven't seen this one before and I'm asking you... do you know anything of a gen like this? The closest thing i've thought of is the Omega Tourbillion - http://www.omegawatches.com/index.php?id=3...&no_cache=1 but it's a tooooootallly different thing. So... question: Have you seen this watch before? Is there any gen like it or is it a combination of a Patek Philipe with Omega case?
  5. Nice... i understand you're an IWC fan now:) nice UPO for sale... a little too big for my wrist. how about the Pam? haven't seen it...
  6. Mine has NO AR at all and I think it's going to stay that way:)... it looks ARed due to the good lighting in the room and the point of camera flash. It would not look like the gen with the AR done... yet it would look even better with AR:). Strap looks great... where did you buy it from? how much did it cost? I got myself from Slask who bought it from joshua. I didn't see the little shorter 9 o'clock marking but maybe i didn't look right.
  7. This is all the description I could find about it... nothing about moving internal bevel... TAG Heuer Caliber 16 automatic chronograph movement. Black, silver, blue or brown dial with 3 counters (hours at 6 o'clock, small seconds at 9 o'clock, minutes at 12 o'clock). Date at 3 o'clock. Circled counters at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock. Luminescent diamond-set hands to facilitate legibility. Hand-applied indexes. Monochrome TAG Heuer logo (appliquéd logo on the gold-steel version). CARRERA inscription. Steel bracelet with 5 rows of alternating finishes (central link in 18K gold on the gold-steel version). Also available with black perforated or brown rubber or calfskin strap.Case: 41 mm in polished steel. Case back with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass. Fixed bezel with tachymetre (bezel with 18K solid gold circle on the gold-steel version). Water-resistant to 50 meters. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Fluted crown for easier handling. Identical to the original model. Solid folding clasp with safety pushbuttons.
  8. Well... give us more details... that sounds interesting but I think most things are the same as the other Tag Heuer Carrera cronographs... and the others don't even have numerals on the bevel. Is this one so different? I saw TH promotes the BradPitt one more... @digitalnrg: wow... black and red on the strap also... that sounds even better than TH did it...
  9. Gen doesn't have AR... did you get 2AR on the Link Slask? I'm not sure i'll get this one ARed... It wouldn't look as gen as it does... Still.. the 60 mark is still bugging me? Did TH make the mistake of putting the 60 marking wrong??? Normally this wouldn't happen on a 3000$ watch... Yet, on their site, i have found another mistake... the 50 versus 100m waterproof... Maybe they are not paying that much attention to details:):)
  10. Also... ths would be a great moment to tell you about my new Tag... I have bought it from another forum member (slask111). It took about a month to get to me due to bad postal services, around 30 phone calls both from me and from the sender to the postal offices and plenty of headaches but... in the end it looks great. Now i'm looking at it and at the one in the Tag Heuer's website and I'm laughing my heart out... why would anyone need the 60 mark at 57...??? I didn't have the time to see pros and cons but... it looks great. Thanks slask111 for helping and please put some pics of your Pam:)
  11. This is one of the watches I most like. Looking at the web site http://www.tagheuer.com/the-collection/car...w=CV2014.BA0786 i have found some strange things:the fixed bezel has wrong inside markings: the 60 mark is actually around 56... nevertheless, the website says it is 100m water resistant but it's just 50 (according to the product card)... Does anyone know what happened to the website in this case? is the gen looking this "wrong" or is there any reason to put the 60 inside marking in the wrong position??? 10x
  12. I have found one with a fellow member and one from a trusted seller. I understood from the fellow member that the A7750 has some alignment issue on the date. Q1. How bad does it look? does anyone have any picture of this? Q2. Are all the reps having this problem? I have seen that many of the members have changed the date with the original one. Q3. Will it look bad if I keep the existing one? How about the lume... Q4. can you see the TAG rep in dark? 10x
  13. isn't the Valjoux 7750 movement the one on the original too? Is there any other swiss movement available on the market for this watch?
  14. Do a good thing to help Santa:) Help a noob buy a nice rep:) I am trying to find a good dealer with a decent price for a Tag Heuer Carrera Black Chronograph. I must say I felt in love with this watch since i have first seen it. I bought an awfull rep with normal scratchy glass and quartz movement from a guy found on the internet and then... I started searching:) I have found quite a lot of decent priced items looking (at least in pics) just like the one here http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=22015 with prices between 158$ - 240 +35$ shipment to Romania - Asian Movement and until 240- 330$ shipment included - ETA movement. Yet, I would like to find it at a dealer who is well known in a community so I would trust in this transaction. Which one would you reccomend for: good quality decent price preferably reaching me before Xmass trusted dealer. I'm not sure I should post here where I have found the prices above as I might just promote something that shouldn't be promoted. Thank you and I really hope Santa will bring us all what we want:)
  15. Hi and congratulations for the rep. I am trying to buy one just like (i think it's the one with the saphire glass on the back too - http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=22015). Can you tell me (PM maybe if not here where have you bought it from and how much have you paid for it). Also, can you tell me what movement does it have and if it is really water resistant? 10x
