  2. Nice, nice And amazing how you drilled the lugholes... wasn't it hard to position them correct before drilling??
  3. Also highly interested in the PAM252 North Pole...
  4. Nice watch this piece of junk No kiddin, it's a seriously nice military watch! The james bond bezelinsert matches perfect with the Zodiac dial.
  5. Nice dial... like the flat A's, font and print like impressive and the datwindow looks the right size. Only the red seems slightly off... But altogether a nice dial!!
  6. Very nice to see them side by side! I also thought it was a huge beast, but although it's a big one, the relative small dial makes looks smaller than i thought. Great watches BTW
  7. Thanx for the answer Aligoat I don't understand the part about the cut-out-notches... do you maybe have a picture of this?
  8. uh I searched in Ebay for a seller named exclusivediscount , just like Vmena suggested... But Ebay says i looked for a non existing seller/user so i'd love to know the correct ebay username Homer uses.
  9. Hi guys, I am looking to buy endlinks or end pieces for my MBW 1665, but i'm not sure which ones to buy. I know i would need 280 or 580 end links, but after i was offered genuine N.O.S. for $280,- i thought i could get a nice watch for that money as well. Hey... it's just the endlinks So... on Ebay i found several sellers offering endlinks for nice prices. All endlinks i found have 455B stamped in them, so these would be fit for a vintage Explorer II and others... but not for a SD or Submariner. Because i can't find any aftermarket endlinks stamped 280 or 580 i am curious... are the endlinks stamped 455B the same as the 580 endlinks or are they really different. Would the 455B endlinks fit my MBW 1665 well... or not? Hope you guys can help me making the right choice
  10. Can't find his name in Ebay... maybe a typo?
  11. WOW... i should have known that before i sold this exact same watch! It really looks magnificent this way. The ADLC looks much better than most PVD which i think is often too black and the Chief AR coating suits the watch perfect. Somehow you managed to give a $600,- watch the looks of a $3,000,- watch... i am amazed and impressed. PS. hands are from the Omega SMP black..?
  12. Sinn is doing some great desinging on their watches the last few years! Again some amazing design
  13. That is one way of looking at it... but i don't know if that's the main reason for the price increases. Maybe it's just greed
  14. I don't know how accurate the AMG series are, but i thought they where even closer than the steel Ingenieur. Maybe it's good to go to a local AD and see which one you prefer on the wrist. Titanium is very light and i don't know if you like that light (or heavy of the steel) feeling on the wrist... One thing... be very carefull with the chronographs, both AMG titanium and steel.
  15. Oh no!!!! After months of waiting and pure patience-agony... you are saying that after a few weeks you're ready and done with it??? But ot be quite honest... i still can't forget my SD which i had to sell a half a year ago. And this is what i want again... a SD .. or a 42mm PO. Good choice Pug But for now it's my fully modded 1665!!
  16. It's a tachymeter scale which is indeed for racing... at the starting point you press start and exactly after 100m you can stop the chronograph and see on the tachymeter scale how hard you where driving...
  17. thanx guys
  18. WOWOWOWWW... that is soooooo nice!! Congrats with that awesome watch! The goodies of J&W are very good indeed, although quite pricy.
  19. Wow... that where 3 expensive months!! But the result is magnificent... very nice collection
  20. Submariners have a 7mm crown, that's correct.... but you'll need a genuine or aftermarket matching tube for that as it won't screw on the replica tube.
  21. Awesome collection!! Not much variation though Could you tell me why you have 2 exact same PO's?
  22. Nice Speedies!! When you buy a replica based on the asian lemania, could you make a nice review or comparisson??? Enjoy those beauties
  23. Mmmm... i still want one, but because they didn't make an ultimate 42mm version i didn't one. Guess i'll wait untill the genuine PO 42mm is at an afforbale price
  24. and again BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP
  25. It's the first time i see this new Orsa, the Monstrum, but i like the design of Orsa watches since a long time. This is again a nice watch... i like the blue indexes at the edge of the dial. But somehow i never buy one because i like them from pictures but i think i won't wear them and they will become a watchbox-princess...
