With almost every rep ive gotten now ive had a pin thats stuck. Is there any way to get them out? Usually I can get them out eventually but this one is in there for good. Its just a noobmariner but it doesn't feel right and ive tried adjusting the divers extension position.

I might be going to NYC tomorrow and I was thinking maybe I should stop at canal street. But are they watches any good there now? My first rep was the biggest POS and it was from NYC. So is it worth it to go to canal street while im there for the day?

what did you polish it with?

Use Mothers aluminum polish, its the best stuff around it cleans the whole watch. But its kinda aggressive and after many times of polishing a brushed watch it will take the brush marks right out.

Toss the movement and get a new one.

I got a new movement from josh on the way i just have to get some tools to remove the case back and some of those pliers for taking the hands off.

I contacted josh, he said to manualy wind the watch 30-40 revs. So I did. Seems to be working fine. I Left it home all day set to the right time and when I just got back it was perfect. Then the winding ran out a few minutes later so i wound it again and ill wear it for the rest of the night and see what happens. But if its fine Thanks for everyones help.

It's probably time for you to start looking around and find a local watchsmith. Possibly he could regulate your asian 21j movement in your beginmariner. If not, maybe he could replace the movement for you. Judging by your current time, I'd figure you're somewhere in the EU, or thereabouts. You might also check w/ some of the EU members to help you find a watchsmith in your area.

2 of my cousins own jewelry stores I guess I could take it to them but I would feel kinda funny taking them a rep. And In In New York. I just emailed josh asking if i could get a new movement.

IMHO, If you know how to change the movement then go ahead! If you plan on keeping it for a while, then get it serviced by one of our respected members.

I would like to get it serviced if its going to ensure my watch is gonna last allot longer. I mean i have like 15 now but only 3 are working properly and this is gonna be taken of the working list if i cant figure this out. It doesn't seem like its that big of a deal changing the movement if you have the right equipment which i kinda wanna buy. I found zigmiester but hes not around untill late august. Who were you refering to by VAC and REX? ill try to contact them about pricing.

If it is just a DG movement, servicing will cost more than a new movement xD. If you plan on keeping it if it is swiss or eta/clone eta, then get it serviced and be done with it. VAC, REX, The Zigmeister all do servicing

Im not sure what movement it is, im not too knowledgeable about movements yet. Heres my problem, My beginmariner from josh is about a month old. All of the sudden it is terribal at keeping time. At 9:40 i reset it to 9:41 because i noticed it was wrong. Then at 10:03 it was at 9:58 on the nose and it was about 20 seconds in and i always set the minutes on the exact seconds what ever it stops on when im setting it. Is that a typical problem?, should i send it to be serviced, or should i just get a new movement and if so who sells movements that would work in a beginmariner?

Im starting to get worried cause one of my subs might be loosing its ability to keep time. Sometimes ill look at it and it will be 10 minutes slow. So i wanna be prepared if i have to change the movement. And where can i buy the right movement for a sub?

Im planning on buying 2 more Submariners or just 2 Rolex's. I just bought a Black SS beginmariner along with a green sub from josh. I really like both of them alot and i had them in 4 days. I will attach a picture of my current collection. So all i need are a few suggestions for the next 2 rolexes i should get. I've been wanting a daytona but my dad has one and the clasp is extremely tight so thats the only reason im avoiding that. I also wouldent mind replacing my bezel missing black TT. But just throw your suggestions out there and im looking at under 200 each, I wanna try EuroTimez also just to see their quality. Thanks

Is there any seller that has either a sub or a sea dweller with a bubble glass? My cousin has a real one and i want a rep to add to my collection. Id like to get one of those next.

The bezel can easily get clogged up with dirt and grime which would cause the movement of it to change, it is easy to remove and clean the 'teeth' in the bezel construction which should solve your problem, there are a number of guides to help you remove the bezel from a sub. Thanks for the link, i tried to get it off but i couldn't and now i am able to turn the bezel clock wise now before it was only counter clock wise. so i don't think dirt is the problem the spring must be broken. Also how water proof are reps? cause i was on a band trip at busch gardens and got it wet more than ever so just curious.

For some reason the bezel on one of my subs got tight and extremely hard to turn. If you can manage to turn it to 6 it will start to loosen up but after you stop it will get tight again. Is there any way to lubricate or fix this?
