  1. Jjajh... Being an old geezer like me, I'm sure you'd want to know that your signature is incorrect. It should be: ...On an ever spinning reel... See here --> http://www.lyricsfreak.com/d/dusty+springf...d_20043868.html Les
  2. Well I guess that's settled. And from what I've read TT straps aren't all their cracked up to be. The gold seems to degrade really quickly, so maybe I'll go with a plain SS model bracelet. And I would ONLY go with a trusted dealer off this forum... currently I'm leaning towards Joshua. Many thanks, Les

Welcome to the fold!! It's nice to see so many new people coming to understand what some of us have known for 20 years. Good to have you aboard. Les
  4. Great story ryyannon, thanks for sharing that. I'm quite sure I couldn't have been that kind!!! Les
  5. Thanks. My wife agrees with you. Les
  6. Ooooooo, that's cruel... That must be the Mod in you coming out! So I don't suppose the later Triumph Bonneville, Norton Commander or Vincint Black Shadow make up for that Huh??? Les
  7. Pussy? What's that? If I knew, I've surely forgotten...
  8. JEFFERSON AIRPLANE... McMillian University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (Summer of Love - 1968) Les PS - I agree, Iron Maiden Rocks!
  9. I would like to purchase my first Sub. Initially I had wanted the Blue dial show on left, but recently I have started leaning toward the Gold dial with diamonds. Does anyone have any information to share relating to either of these two models? I sure would appreciate it. Les
  10. Highflyingclive... Here's smile for you. Sorry about the quality... (photography had only just been invented - hahaha) (Yes, the old geezer above and the young dude here are both me, a little less hair and a little more middle!) Devon 1962 - BSA 250 Les
  11. Hahahaha... Highflyingclive, I know EXACTLY what you mean! I went to college in the UK (Devon 1961-1963). You don't have to tell me about them windy roads, just wide enough for one car and half a person. I cut my teeth on the great British motorcycles flying down hedge-lined Devon lanes, Triumph, Norton, Matchless, Vincent, BSA... need i go on??? And while you were busy being a mod in your suits and skinny ties and mirrors on your scooters, I was hanging out at the Cafés with the Rockers, wearing black leather and doing "the ton". GOD... where did those years go???? Les
  12. I had a Guild 12 string once, but sold it to British folk artist Rod MacKenzie. Les
  13. Guilds are great! One of the most underrated guitars out there! Les
  14. Guns! Big guns, little guns, long guns, short guns, old guns, new guns!!! Best of my collection.... Luger DWM 1918 Les
  15. This probably isn't an option for you, but if it is, I would give serious consideration to buying a Harley, even second hand. More power than you'll ever need, and a "wow factor" that's off the scale. Les
