Jjajh... Being an old geezer like me, I'm sure you'd want to know that your signature is incorrect. It should be: ...On an ever spinning reel... See here --> http://www.lyricsfreak.com/d/dusty+springf...d_20043868.html Les

Well I guess that's settled. And from what I've read TT straps aren't all their cracked up to be. The gold seems to degrade really quickly, so maybe I'll go with a plain SS model bracelet. And I would ONLY go with a trusted dealer off this forum... currently I'm leaning towards Joshua. Many thanks, Les

Welcome to the fold!! It's nice to see so many new people coming to understand what some of us have known for 20 years. Good to have you aboard. Les

Great story ryyannon, thanks for sharing that. I'm quite sure I couldn't have been that kind!!! Les

Thanks. My wife agrees with you. Les

Ooooooo, that's cruel... That must be the Mod in you coming out! So I don't suppose the later Triumph Bonneville, Norton Commander or Vincint Black Shadow make up for that Huh??? Les

I would like to purchase my first Sub. Initially I had wanted the Blue dial show on left, but recently I have started leaning toward the Gold dial with diamonds. Does anyone have any information to share relating to either of these two models? I sure would appreciate it. Les

Highflyingclive... Here's smile for you. Sorry about the quality... (photography had only just been invented - hahaha) (Yes, the old geezer above and the young dude here are both me, a little less hair and a little more middle!) Devon 1962 - BSA 250 Les

Hahahaha... Highflyingclive, I know EXACTLY what you mean! I went to college in the UK (Devon 1961-1963). You don't have to tell me about them windy roads, just wide enough for one car and half a person. I cut my teeth on the great British motorcycles flying down hedge-lined Devon lanes, Triumph, Norton, Matchless, Vincent, BSA... need i go on??? And while you were busy being a mod in your suits and skinny ties and mirrors on your scooters, I was hanging out at the Cafés with the Rockers, wearing black leather and doing "the ton". GOD... where did those years go???? Les

Guilds are great! One of the most underrated guitars out there! Les -

This probably isn't an option for you, but if it is, I would give serious consideration to buying a Harley, even second hand. More power than you'll ever need, and a "wow factor" that's off the scale. Les

My best sounding two guitars are a Gibson ES-335TD (red) and a Martin DM. But I had this Fender Kingman about 35 years ago, that was pure magic. Unfortunately, it was hung across my back, neck down, as I was descending an external staircase, and my foot slipped on a wet spot, and me and the Fender went crashing to the bottom. I survived, the Fender didn't. Les -
OK, that makes sense. Les

I'm a UK citizen too... I was taught and for 60 years have believed that Scotland was a country. When did it cease to be a country? Les

Thank you. I had filled in the field for my country, but had overlooked the button at the top. Many thanks. Les

How does one get one of those cool waving flags???? Les

When a rep description says "Water-Resistant" just what does that mean? Does it mean that if you are wearing it in the rain you're probably OK, but you definately shouldn't go swimming in it? And in some descriptions it says "Close at 6 and 9" I think. What's that mean? Les

Many thanks... Today is my first day, I'm still wandering around bumping into walls. Les
