Send it to Rex the repairman... he's done solid work on my watches over the years. Quick, dependable and honest. And he's in the USA. After 11 months, Andrew (I don't think) will/should support you. Going forward, you should speak up immediately if there is an issue. Does sound like a mainspring.

I've purchased from DIYstorm... 99% complete garbage. Don't waste your money. I tried a bunch of stuff. You have to order - at least - one, if not two sizes larger than you normally would & the fabric is garbage. KB's stuff, on the other hand, is quite solid... I bought a Paul Smith suit from him once for my brother who got a lot of great use from it and it looked and wore very nice (better than crappy stuff like Jos Banks, etc).

I've bought Hermes ties from Trevor. They are very nice, just a tad shorter than standard. That said, nobody will ever know that they are reps, as the quality is good enough (I have both gen and rep Hermes ties). Granted, if you are a Hermes expert you can tell, but (1) how many people are Hermes experts? and (2) nobody will really get that close enough to your tie to inspect it to verify it is a true Hermes. Trevor - not the best communicator, but his ties were good.
