Hmm, just as a minor update: I spent $430 on a DSN 111H. In short, I do not think it's worth it...buy from elsewhere for <300$ and spend the rest on custom straps and mods. My CG had a clearly uneven cut (where the lever meets the CG) and the case even has a mysterious stain on it near the lugs that cannot be removed with conventional means. I can't really do anything about any of this...other than recommend to others that they can save money.

Because people get excited about the possibilities of higher, stronger, faster, deeper... whether it is in the world of luxury watches, automobiles, aircraft or even japanese porn. As a diver myself, I can attest to the fact that there is little need for recreational divers to go below 50m. Technical diving commands more advanced setups, though 300m would be pushing it. In any case, the (% of population that needs to go below 100meters) multiplied by (% population that feels the need to maintain wrist fashion while having to gauge depth and potential hazards from all three dimensions) is a low number.

hey dave thanks for your reply! that's actually solid advice there...and I was thinking there are gems to be found in those markets. I guess this kind of justifies the whole ordering online business...I grew up in Hong Kong myself and was conditioned not to spend more than 300$ on pirated goods of any kind. Unfortunately, I don't live there anymore so I don't have access to all that business--and yes I miss the dim sum!

Well I'm new here! Long story short: I have a friend who's in Guangzhou right now, that is his home so he's a local. However, he doesn't know anything about how to tell a good replica from a bad replica.
