I tried searching but got nowhere.
I am looking for a dealer of some sort that sells pam homages in the country. I hate buying from asia and waiting and worrying about customs.
I have seen jacksontse but they are in asia, but hopefully there may be another dealer that sells similar items that is located in America.
For the record I am looking to pick up a PVD pam homage with sterile dial

Lani,
Great review of a superb watch. I am sooo into the 40mm watches but this watch is growing on me each and every day. I am scared to strap on a 43mm watch to my 6" wrist but it looks just so damn good.

My latest GMT C was correct, except it needed to be painted black (figure the same way you would fill in the backcase of a SSD)
If you see pics of the gen all of the writing has black ink. On the DJ, Milgauss and DD they are simply etched in

Interesting news indeed There's been a rep of the DSSD with ceramic mid-links for a while now
PICS!!! I wonder how this looks...

I dont think the rehaut not being on the 3,6,9 correctly is a big issue.... how many ppl are going to come up to you and inspect the rehaut?
The actual rehaut engraving looks correct, its just that they dont line up.... in my book its not a big deal. Of course to each his own....

Offshore, can you provide info on which correct screwdriver to use? I can buy at a local hardware store. A lsoit appears it is pure sapphire I see no green tint.
-
Can you please advise the correct tool that could be used to tighten the rotor if this is the case? If the rotor is fine is it possible that i have a non sapphire crystal that is creating this cheap sound when i tap it ?
-
Hi All
I just received a beautiful looking SS GMTIIC with ETA clone (I think I may have gotten a swiss by accident but thats another story)
One thing I noticed, and unlike my other reps is that when I "tap" the middle of the crystal I get a kind of tinny, cheap sound as a response. Usually I hear a nice thud from my other reps and gens.
I thought this may be the crystal being non-sapphire, but I dont think that is the case. I then removed the caseback and everything was intact and looked good. I then had the idea that the rotor may be a bit loose, I held it down gently while tapping on the crystal and I heard the nice thud I hear on other watches. If it helps, I notice when winding on my hand the rotor is a bit nosier than normal.
Does anyone think I have a loose rotor that causes this sound? If so could anyone advise the correct tool to use to cure this loose rotor?
If its not the rotor does anyone have any other advise? I am willing to install a Clark if that may help.
Thanks!

Awesome post... I wish I was into watches at that time I would have one hell of a collection

Is this service still available?

The only change I know of is the full ceramic bezel instead of the sandwhich bezel made of who knows what.

By the way BK (who probably sold you the wm9 sub) does his excellent work on the Transformer GMT

So I pulled the trigger on this watch..

I love the GMT II Ceramic! I know the rehaut may not be lined up, but I think it isnt the biggest deal. There arent many other flaws I can think of!
I got into mods, and I will start with brushing the bracelet... Im not into the polished links. After that I was thinking of reluming and putting a clark crystal in.
What else can I do to make this feel more gen-like? I know there might not be much, but I like to have the best of the best
Thanks in advance!

How's the rehaut on PT's GMT-C

Looks great enjoy!

I have a feeling alot of dealers will have an influx of PMs due to this excellent review! Awesome watch, I am considering the regular black dial without green crystal.

Doesnt look like mine!!

holy moly ubi i love your daytonas...
-
Stunning I would love one of those!
-
That Daytona is AWESOME please please rep it!
-
I would suggest contacting BK hes the man!
I got a used v2 sub thankfully and I love it.. Just keep checking the classifieds and if that doesnt work just give BK a down payment on a new one... it is well worth the wait.

Hope this helps, I have a wm9 sub and a gen Daytona.
When the lume is not glowing it is in fact very white and no shades of green to be seen on the gen. Maybe its a little dark right now, but Ive never seen a greenish tint to my lume on my gen daytona.

No worries Ubi, this is sticky material!
Where to find pam homage in the US?
in The Panerai Area

Great! Thanks for that info. I am looking for a PVD with sandwhich dial & blue numbers (its on Jacksontse's site but I want it ASAP lol)
