My wife and I will be celebrating our 25th soon and for a couple of years she has been hinting at a watch that she saw in my 2007 Watches International catalog from a company I had never heard of before, Meyers: http://www.meyers.fr/accueil.php I wondered if anyone has even owned one of these or knows of their quality/value? This is a watch that I have drooled over since I first saw it advertised: I have seen *some* rep bubbles on the net but always it ends up being from a site that upon doing a Google search, shows them to be scammers. I really like the size of these watches; very chunky.. and the band isn't so bad itself. Do any of you fine folks know if any reputable sellers have this time piece? Kind regards.

Hi, Just a middle aged guy who has always fancied himself a watch aficionado. I have always been curious as to how close to the real thing a rep can get so I have come here to learn, study, and purchase a watch that would otherwise, be well outside of my price range. Thanks for this great site that took pages and pages of Google searching to find. So many "fake" review sites/forums that give A+ ratings to scam sites were found before finding this nice site that tells the truth. EDIT: oh, the watch I have been drooling over for a while now is the Chopard Mille Miglia 2006 Gran Turismo XL with a white face.
