"Boys, Boys tis the season!! Poor irolexu, I'll bet if he ever gets another deal like this one, he won't post it on any of the forums. LOL Look everyone, I know irolexu, he is an honest man, he does a lot of watch business, and I must say his integrity is in tact. I know the whole story, and he was as honest about it as anyone could be. He was in the right place at the right tme and had a fist full of dollars in his pocket. End of story. I'll tell you what was interesting, we laid the gen next to a rep that we had, and I got to tell you, we were shocked at how good the rep was, it was truly amazing"

OK, so where are the photos?

  2. One of my first reps was a Speedy date from Eurotimez. What a great rep, but after a few weeks it started running really fast, like 2 hrs/day fast. So I contacted Chris at ETZ, and he said to send it back and he would replace it. Me being the noob I was at the time, I sent it back and never saw it again. Eurotimez melted down soon after that. Some are good, some are bad, but I'll never send one back again.

  3. I use them as intended. I make sure most are water resistant to cover running water, or swimming and use them in all conditions.

However, I also like the "well maintained / serviced look". In my opinion, there should be a natural ebb and flow of New/Serviced looking to getting Worn-- only to be serviced again and looking fresh to getting worn again. Swapping Acrylic Rolex crystals is a breeze, as is using PolyWatch. If I can't read the dial through scratches, it is time for some attention.

    I agree 100% w/ Ronin. My three rough-use watches....

My 20 yr old Gen 16610 Sub. Had it last serviced in 2008. Up to then, it looked like it had been taken care of by Nanuq. The 1665 GW gets the baby treatment (thx Vly)...

  4. And all over £45 !!

But I am a little confused... Who is Gtharn? Lunarglide? Did he re-register again and again? ie Lunarglide- Gtharn-Barkingmad?

I still dont get how it got to be such a big deal... one had to shut up and the other just fill in the claim form...after that he could walk away having done all he could in the eyes of everyone...

Its a shame that it resorted to empty words.... afterall we can really say what we like on here ..its a barrier to any consequence in 99.9% of the cases...

Just glad that 99.9% of our members arent so immature and stupid as to resort to ridiculous and inane comments to other members let alone our mods!!

    :)
