  1. Just bought two yesterday. One black dial and one white dial. Can't wait to receive mine! I even have the H3 CP ready to be installed.
  2. Mine does unscrew. You can't remove it but enough of a gap to allow HE gas to escape.
  3. Possible quartz movement. Cougaree
  4. Check this out... interesting... http://stores.shop.ebay.com/LOOP-VOOW__W0QQ_armrsZ1
  5. Good question, the day & night indicator does not work. Everything else works.
  6. I am saving up for getting my SS case DLC'ed in fact. If you want something black/dark, I think DLC is the way to go instead of PVD.
  7. I got it from the bay from a HongKong seller for about $70 including shipping. However, I found a similar one on Panatime for less later. The strap is at: http://www.panatime.com/26dkbrcrlean.html If you use RWG as the coupon code, you will save a buck or two.
  8. Mine is fine... after months of owning it. However, I have accepted the fact that it's going to be scratched eventually. With mine, a small scratch will disappear after wearing it for a while.
  9. I agree with you on the buckle. It's indeed on the thin side. My strap however is not bad. I would keep it over any too thick custom straps. Mine's AR is not very purple. I guess it's just a little bit. Crystal, I hope it doesn't explode as I am still in love with it.
  10. I agree with you on the lume. Enough lume for me. The strap is very nice, it's as pliable as one of those custom straps. It's very well made, and I certain buy another one for my other homages. I bought this watch from RWG last week. If you search for "233", you will find the original ad.
  11. Here is my group shot... everyone less what on my wrist (an IWI Marine Diver) and ones I sent to Vac for mods. The vintage 47mm is superlumed by Vac (thanks man!)
  12. Here are some two lume shots I took last night. The watch has been sit out in the dark for about 5 minutes before the pictures are taken. The watch on the left is Vac made homage. The lume is not too bad, but it's certainly not as bright and as long lasting as Vac's lume, but it's ok.
  13. PR? Do you mean the indicator on the dial for the main spring? Yes, it works.
  14. Received my 233 a day ago, and I am still in the honeymoon period. Is it an accurate replication? No, the gen has much different movement. Is it beautiful as a watch? Absolutely. The smaller sized 127 like case, is very nice! The leather strap is by far the best quality rep strap I have seen. Does anyone know if the movement can be hand-winded?
  15. This time is the RXW MM20. Buyer be aware!!! HERE
  16. I know that if all of the watches are quartz, then I won't be collecting as many watches as I have today. I think owning mechanical watches is not purely for time keeping.
  17. This is what I got so far. Thanks RWG, I have learned a lot about these watches. The 47mm PVD, vintage (third from left in the top row row) are superlumed by Vac. Enjoy! Cougaree
  18. Mine. All DSN parts (flat case). The native color of the vintage lume is kind of orange. I have only been outside for less than two minutes...
  19. I have to use Random Generator to organize what I wear I enter each of my watch three times (that is the maximum amount of days I will be with one watch... assuming a watch will happen to be picked three times consecutively), then run the program. The final order correspond to the days of the month... when I hit the end of my list, I will run the program again to generate a new list for next two months... If I ended up selling one watch off my list, I just bump up whatever next in line. I found this to be useful, especially when having too many watches... every watch will get its fair chance... 20. More precisely, these are what I am thinking Omega Case Back For Case 168.1652 OME-112ST1772 Omega Anti-Reflective Sapphire Crystal (Which one???) 1. OME-062SA3008 2. OME-SB3065 3. OME-SB3063 4. OME-062SA3007 Am I wrong? Your expertise is appreciated! Cougaree
