I just got back from a business trip. This watch welcomed me in my mail box. I think this is going to be a keeper for a short while.
I haven't opened the case yet. The picture below is from the seller. The watch sports Swiss ETA 6498 movement.
IWI's Marine Diver for the weekend.
Sending this to get relumed today (dial and hands). What is your recommendations? C1 or C3. I understand C3 is more off white, but is it noticeable?
I just checked. The RXW MM20 does have minimal distortions, but distortion is also fun IMHO. It makes the watch more unique. It's one of the reason I am thinking about getting a DSN 127. The MM20 crystal does have its own problem, its sapphire crystal is too flat on the middle, which casts a round shadow in the middle of the dial.
True. JOA's are sterile. If I'm looking for a 127, then you are right, JOA's is not 127. If I'm just looking at the built quality (I know they are all good, but I only need one so the better is better), case finish / material, etc, are they the same? Thanks for your reply!
Not JOA's? The price for a JOA piece is about $525.00 I don't know if $525 vs. $490 will make any difference ($460 + $30 Western Union Fee). Maybe they are from the same source... Anybody?
Hi all,
I've been looking for a nice Pam 127 for a while. I have some cheaper ones ($100 - 200) and a RXW MM20, which I like them a lot. I have these three options:
1. DSN Pam 127 http://www.rwg.cc/members/1950-Fiddy-availabel-t93573.html
2. JOA 127
3. Trusty's 127 ultimate http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...roducts_id=1841
Any experiece with all or any of them? I am not sure if JOA 127 is identical to DSN's or not. Certainly JOA's is sterile, which can be pretty nice. I think with DSN you can also order sterile as well.
Thanks for your help!

Breitling for Wed. I just noticed that the crown on this watch is a pain to screw back in. Now my thumb and point fingers are hurting. It's hard to get a firm grip. Is it normal?
I believe YAO dial will fit. In fact I was told by others that MKii Rolie homages are based on the Sandoz case.
I have a Sandoz singapore too... but have not done any upgrade yet.

Guys,
I really would like to update my UPO with gen tube, crowns, dial and hands. Who should I order in US then? The Zigmeister, would you be interested in doing the work and providing necessary parts? Please pm me if you are.
Thanks!

Some people may not like it, but I do. It's bought on Ebay and gave chronometer performance right out of the box. Amazing! The CP is still short, but for some reason, the hands are installed very nicely (parallel to the dial). This is my exception watch (keep the CP as is until the movement needs to be serviced!).
