  1. I agree.......throw It In the wash..maybe puting some of the washing liquid directly on the stain..let It sit for around 30 min or so before wash cycle begins. Good luck. @ Ronin....lol Mike
  2. It really Is amazing how these guys still rock...very Impressive...thanks for posting.
  3. A little easier on the eyes:)..although some finger cots would have been nice.
  4. Good for you HartDoc. PP claims should only be a last resort and only after everything else has failed. Thats the main reason why we suggest that you only deal with the trusted dealers here..If something does go's wrong.. there's a very good chance that it will be rectified. Dealers are only human..and things can and will happen from time to time...patence Is your friend durring these times. We as a community dont want to draw unwanted attention to are hobby...flying under the radar Is best. These people at PP and your cc company are not complete Idiots..a Rolex from China for $200.00 or whatever Is not fooling anyone. It will be viewed as a counterfeit Item..and most will not have a positive outlook on the situation. It's Important to remember that we are not at are local Wal Mart with reciept In hand..so with that we have a certain responsibillity....to just file a PP dispute for better cs Is not responsible. Giving the dealer time to correct the issue Is the right thing to do. Since I've been here.. 99.999% of the time.. issues have been corrected when following the advice In this thread. Not only Is the customer better off but we as a community are better off also...Including the dealer. I have had two major(somewhat) issues In the last two years...with a little patence and good advice from the members here...both issues were corrected to my satisfaction. Remember...patence is the name of the game. Mike
  5. I like to switch around....although I prefer the typical Pam tang most of the time. I do have a nice leather and rubber strap that use on the depolyant...and like Pete says...the deployant is easier on the strap. But cant say one Is more comfortable than the other. Mike
  6. Indeed Ken...penis envy is not the most wonderful way to start off a marriage
  7. Adds around 15-20 hp..according to some of the reviews that I have read. I will get it dyno tested one day to know what exactly the gains are...but my seat of the pants Impression is good for 15hp..or so...we will see. Mike
  8. Thanks..makes the video a little less horrifying knowing It's a cheep clone. Stll not right..but less horrifying none the less. Mike
  9. Agreed..and not only Insulting to the watchmakers..but to all of us that apperciate and love the time honored tradition and creation of the mechanical movement. I think the guy was trying to impress upon viewers how many moving parts are Involved In a mechanical movement...If you go by his video discription...but failed miserably to do so in a proper and professional manor. Can you tell what the movement is from the video? thanks. Mike
  10. Here's my everyday runaround...03 titanium edition Nissan Maxima...............................................and here's my garage kept 08 Infinity M35x. Both have cold air intake..and the M35 has a performance chip.
  11. I was thinking of you Zigmeister when I first saw this..lol...what a embarasment to your fine watchmaking/ skills/craft. Mike
  12. This Halloween... ghost will be sitting around the campfire telling Chuck Norris stories.
  13. One thing for sure...she/he's going to be a real pain In the [censored].
  14. I couldnt agree more...and no video showing the guy putting the movement back together?? He should have just used a hammer..would have been much quicker and to the point. Mike
  15. I hope this Isnt a real Omega movement..Im thinking Chinese(maybe a 2824-2) clone.......Im hoping Chinese clone. This guy shows this movement no respect....yikes Members chime In The comments left for this guy are priceless. . Mike
  16. Thanks subbie...My guess is that he will say.."how about $225.00"..sounds like a fair price on a watch thats only been worn a few times due to the uncomfortability issues. It really is a good looking watch...for a grab&go beater..actually quite nice. $50.00 between frinds?...not a problem. Mike
  17. Agreed..thats why I also agree that this thread needs a bump here and there. A good reminder for everyone. Mike
  18. Not your fault Pete..could have happened to anyone of us...on both sides. Mike
  19. I wouldnt let Chuck Norris hear you say that Pete. It's been said that his spinning roundhouse kick can reach Austraila from his home In Texas. Be careful Mate. Mike
  20. WD40..lol....I have to admit... that watching those blocks transform Into numbers Is quite fascinating. hypnotic.. Indeed. Mike
  21. Thanks for the feedback gents:)..I might just offer him $200.00 and see what he says. I have a feeling that he might just take It. Mike
  22. It's really cool how the numbers take shape..not to shabby
  23. A friend of mine that I had a few;) drinks with last night has a Festina Chrono Bike. It's the exact same one as In the picture. He really likes the watch but says It's uncomfortable on his 61/2 wrist. He said he paid around $300.00 for it about six months ago..he has all the paper work/proof of purchase. I dont really care that much for quartz watches.... but they cant be beat for grab and go. he says that I can have It for $250.00...and I do like the looks of this particular watch. So..does anyone here have experence with this brand or watch..If so..what are your thoughts. The truth Is ..I know very little about this brand. The watch does seem to be well made Imho. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Mike....(ps)..His favorite watch Is a 42 PO that he picked up from Andrew last year..lol
