Spidey,
Great job on the CG and the strap! I love the color and the rectangular holes...

The Zigmeister is also right! I never meant my comment to sound quite like it does... The movement if seated, set-up and regulated correctly should run like a top. A tap, knock or whack are no substitute for someone who has the knowledge to correctly diagnose and treat the problem.

Drulee is dead on! I have had the same thing happen. Transit for watches can be harsh, even if packaged correctly. I have had them run fine out of the box only to stop days later... As Drulee said, put the watch in your palm dial down and try a couple of sturdy taps. Hope it helps man! We have all been there. Whether it comes from a dealer or a member, it can happen.

Kinda weird that some people read all those goofy things into it... To me, it was always an aesthetics and symmetry thing. Thanks for sharing!

Voot ~ Great MM and smokin pic!

Hey ~ I just heard from him a couple times yesterday... From his Blackberry though, so he might be out and about. I used vaclume@gmail.com... As far as dealing with him. If one of the mods you want is lume, he is truly a master!

LOL... Too cool! Thanks for posting!

Mickey - I really liked your white sterile dial! What a super looking watch... BTW enjoy the incoming Vac, I fall asleep to his work every night. Charge it up and glows till daylight!

Great job on your watches bro's! Here are a few of my past and present sterile homages...

Much thanks for the positive feedback guy's! It is appreciated... All I do is remove the CG push the pin up a tad so just the leading edge is visible. Then I go at it with some fine sand paper and give it the once over with 3M pad. Make sure it is on a flay, hard surface with the feet of the CG against a straight edge to avoid a random pattern. Cool about the avatar Sweattdogg, I love Bullies! We have 3. I included some more daytime pic's. Oh BTW, the watch is a recent pickup. It is a DSN MM20. I am a freak for 47mm MM's...
Thanks,
Nooby

Hey guy's... Spent about 10 minutes on my MM20 CG tonight. Turned out fairly decent for a minimal effort (IMHO). Please excuse my crappy pic's, just some quick and dirties.
Thanks,
Nooby

Donerix,
Hey man! I love the straps! I really dig the washed out black croc with the golden stitch! Wanna sell it? LMK!
Thanks,
Nooby

Donerix ~ Great freakin job on the strap man! Let me know when you get some different thread, I would love to have one.
-
Great pictures! Thank you for sharing. Can you tell me a little more about the strap?
Vlydog... To my knowledge it is a Straps Monster strap and buckle. Mr.A is the man! I have 4 buckles of his. He does some pretty cool one-off stuff with his straps as well. Great service and super nice dude!
-
Great meal, great watch & great pic's! Trifecta of coolness. I really dig the SM strap and buckle. Mr. A makes some groovy stuff!
-
I've ordered many times... Always super fast and great stuff!
-
Great looking Fiddy! You will love it... I second the vote for Gunny straps!
-
I too wear them both loose... I dislike the sticky, tight feeling on my arm. I like the watch to roam fairly free. On leather straps I will choose the hole slightly tight for my liking to allow for a bit of stretch. That way I don't have 2 distorted holes or buckle wear marks. Ditto Tee on the Nato though...

Has anyone contacted you yet Nooby?
I wonder if this is just a DNS prob and you just need to wait until yours resolves itself after all the work that was carried out there?
Ken
Hey Ken ~ No... No contact yet. Will a DNS problem resolve? I don't Know squat about that stuff. I was on for a couple days after the crash and then.... Flat-line!
Thanks for checking in!

nOOby, are ya selecting the Remember Me tab when trying to log into RepGeek ?
I can't even get to the site... Just get this - Error 7 (net::ERR_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out. - And website is unavailable. But I used to select remember me when I was able to get on days ago.

Sylar has been alerted, I'm sure either he or one of his team will be in contact soon.
Ken
Ken - Thanks so much! I really do appreciate it! I honestly do like it here and never meant any harm by posting.
Best,

@ Nooby I will pop over and ask an Admin to have a look at it for you.
@Corgi shoutbox and a few other features has been taken down in preparation of our server upgrade.
Ken
Ken ~ Much appreciated! Thanks-a-million...

A bit like popping into MacDonalds and asking where the nearest Burgerking is, but yes it has been having problems
Well... I never meant it to seem that way. I don't see it as a competition. I thought we all just loved watches and the hobby. I am a supporter of both sites and have gleaned loads of knowledge, a few watches and some friends along the way. I just like hamburgers... Don't particularly care if they have special sauce lettuce, & cheese or are whopping in size. I apologize if I was out of line... And I was here the whole time the Geek was down, and participated in the discussions. I have read the forum and if the problem was wide spread there would be some posting going on. The fact that there is not lead me to believe that it was on my end and someone with more smarts than I could help.
-
Hey all... First let me say that I love it here and have been a supporter as well. Here is my problem. I can get on every damn website in the world except Rep Geek. I have tied everything you can think of as it has been a couple days now. From DNS & IP this and that to clearing everything and strating over. WTF? Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance all!
Best,
Nooby

Looks Marvelous... I think the only problem with the display back is the temptation to reverse the strap and wear it backwards...
