All beauties. My first ‘modern’ rep was a Honpo PAM ... 16+ years ago.. lol.. love PAMs.. miss all the ‘old skool’ reps that many of us purchased at the time but thought were flawed and we were just waiting for the next ‘big thing’ or ‘improved version’ so eventually traded off.. +1 brown +1 black thanks! -
USA pricing for cable and tele cannot be compared with international services. we pay dearly for these services and at a fraction sometimes of the throughput however we save at the petro pump aka GASOLINE

i suspect the datewindow you received was from the latest version ROO with AP sourced base movement and a DD module on top, because none of your other frankens experienced this issue. which cyclops did you use?

AP Rep Dial on Gen Movement we have seen pics over at RWI and Here of several versions of these projects as follows: Gen Dial/Rep Movement Gen Dial/Gen Movement Rep Dial/Rep Movement :-) Rep Dial/Gen Movement now about that last one... Guru's RBII looks great and Sander also... and we have seen sander make a franken Gen Dial fitted to a A7750 with a 2893 DW mod Link Here now... how about a REP Dial on a GENUINE movement w/ an ETA7750 DW so that the .5mm offset of the DW is correct when utilizing the Rep Dial??

Need some help finding crown and stem for 288K
Defender110 replied to UliKusch's topic in The Panerai Area
i believe any eta/asian 7750 stem would work. What is broken on the crown? the treads or other?<br />if threads then you will have to replace both the tube AND the crown.. check DSN he has an updated set of these as i know the OLD cases were notorious for stripping. atb -
+1 at chieftang. "tdc" is hit or miss and mostly miss in the tradegroups that i deal with.

I have a lot of experience with most makes... while Porsche makes a great car you might want to look at some other brands in this price group.. if you are reluctant to jump to a 911 A. BMW 3 series B. MB SL series it might end up a few years older but you can get one thats certifed and most have extremely LOW LOW miles, which IMHO more than makes ups for it. Only repair I have had to do is installing new batteries when they drain out from inactivity. C. Luxury SUV -extremely comfortable and truly upscale and most can be had with honking motors.. ie: BMW X5 w/ 4.4, 4.6, 4.8 and 5.0. you are correct the Cayman interior is low rent for the group, its really a money maker for Porsche because people can have a Porsche with out the New 911 price of admission.

Welcome to the Forum 'ginault' are are a serious watchmaker in your own right! i am sure you will find this forum fun, exciting, educational, and exactly what you are looking for in a hobby forum! however to most seasoned WIS here we would not call it a hobby.. its much grander than that.

I think a little has been lost in the translation... the OP has a REP, but upon further research has found what he thinks is a REP being sold or even has been sold as a GENUINE. the possibility that the purchaser is someone from our community and is privy to this post is very rare indeed. besides i would have to say that if the customer was a member from here that they would know the difference rather quickly and would have spoke with the vendor ASAP. that listing is a GEN. no worries anyways.

LOL best to review your options with your lady friend or wife first for their opinion.. i strongly believe in personal grooming and your wife/girlfriend/significant other special person probably feels the same way because you should be pleasant to look at. do small areas FIRST. If you like it and are used to the feeling then move on to another area. once you are used to it a safety razor and shaving cream works fine on the twig and berries. no razor burn whatsoever. i do not shave my scalp, i use a balding blade attachment and whenever or where ever you shave i strongly recommend that you use a high quality scrub-cream first, they are awesome. my wife bought me some years ago and i now use it every time.

not so bad price when if you have ever tried for vintage or 16520 daytona dials before. and the rollie dials are everywhere because they make ALOT .. a very LOT. AP production is much lower than RLX. no comparison really.

Have you thought about adding a Diamond Bezel? I highly recommend it. the 2.0tcw and above are actually pretty reasonable just make sure you dont have more ice than your ladies. ...or even get the case paved.
-
@ franciso -probally more like $700 (parts + labor) @ smicho -if you are going to go with a ETA 7750 get a dial to fit w/ seconds at 9. may be INCORRECT but will be reliable and serviceable longterm.
