Hi everyone I have been luking around here for years and when bytor showed up again it reminded me of lani, He was such a great firend to me and alot of us and I was wondering if anyone knew where he went or more importnatly if he is doing alright. thanx guys I got it out and was lightly cleaning the dial, was running the whole time, I touched the seconds hand by accedent and now it is dead....I am not sure what I did any ideas would be nice. I am going to take it to my local watchmaker tomorrow, I want him to remove the hands anyway to clean the crap off the dial.Let me know what you guys think I did to the movement.

I have a eterna-matic movment calibre 1441un and I have no idea how to get the crown out so I can take the movement out of the case, it has no push release that I can see just a screw near the base of the crown and no hacking so no way to stop the movement, I thought you could only remove a movement in the time setting mode so the movement would stop.Any help would be great.

i only took the bottom edges off the cg's they look really thin in that pic I will try to put up another one, I used a dremmel tool with a thin sanding disc. The disc only has sand on the one side so I didn't have to worry about hurting the tube. I think once I change the crown for one of bk's and put in a new insert and pearl it will look really good!

it was really fun...i had no idea the movement would be so small, I took it apart with almost no tools!

I have had this noobmariner for a few months and I was thinking of sending it out for mods, the insert was way too high and when it got damaged on the outside edges I though I would try the thinning mod on it.I must say it was not to bad I still want to get a new insert and a better pearl but at least I had a chance to try my skills. Shortly after modding the insert I though I would try my CG's I think they turned out all right for my first attempt, they were hard to balance! Anyway I learned the techniques from RWG so I owe you guys a big thanx. Enough talking on to the pics. Let me know what you think and how I can improve on my next try. ignore the scratches at the edge of the insert...that is why I did the mod in the first place it was already toast! here is a closer shot.

I only deal with Josh and I just got my noobmariner, I must say he is amazing. Fast service, always answers my emails and the watches have all been top notch no issues they have all been running when I open the package and if he doesn't check them before they go out my luck has been fantastic as my watches are stellar.

I was referring to the fact that some members of repgeek said his gen deepsea for sale on Ebay might have been a replica. I don't want to assume anything but maybe it should be looked into as this is a BIG NO NO I have learned from experience that people do dumb things with their reps ie: post them on Gen forums but maybe we should look into the fact that there may be some truth to the claims that there was an attempt to sell a rep as a Gen, I would hope that Warrcraft could chime in and clear it up as he seems to be an active member here at RWG. I am by no means trying to stir the pot as they say I just happened to be following the thread on RG and RWG came up.
