Looks great. I have been eyeing a compressor kit for some time, just haven't made the space on the bench to get it started. Great piece. Wear it well.

I did basically the same on mine (sorry no pics at present) but I did one additional step. After filing flat I used a drill bit a little smaller than the OD of the pearl rim and manually drilled the lume material down. Holding the bit like a pencil, center the bit in the pearl and twist it back and forth between thumb and finger). This creates a cavity in the pearl that contains the epoxy nicely and prevent overflow past the rim.

Sounds like something caught in the wheel train if it's happening at the same time every day and a manual advance get you passed it. Probably if you are wearing it the motion of the watch on your wrist is enough to push it along. Best bet is a service and all will be good.
