  1. I thought so. Thanks Ubi...
  2. So I'm about to embark on a 7032 assembly before sending off to Vac for service and right off the bat, I'm on hold. Question: Is this the release button to remove the stem on this movement? See pict below (not my movement by the way). Thanks in advance. Sorry for the large photo
  3. WOW Utheman! Looks fantastic. I'm glad she went to such a good home. I'll probably wind up re-buying this watch somewhere (if available )
  4. I'll join in. My MBW 1680 with slight fading (done by a prior owner, i added the Yuki pearl): hosting images upload gif image uploading
  5. Good eye Jkay. I see the details of this now on the Tudor and the lack there of on my Seagull.
  6. Agreed. I think i jumped to conclusions about this. I have a Seagull movement (that runs like a champ by the way) that looks identical to this Tudor's movement. At any rate, looks like this is my ignorance and I've (once again) learned something from this forum. Thanks for the comments guys.

  8. Ok, so I'm seeing more Tudors with the same movements in terms of aesthetics. I like the blue Tudor. Cool dial
  9. Hmm. Does look similar. The ebay one is so clean. Cant see any ETA decoration either. Again, I'm no expert just curious about this.
  10. That's what i thought too Red but the "swirls" on the movement and lack of an ETA stamp made me suspicious. I contacted the seller and asked innocuously if it's an ETA movement. No response as of yet.
  11. I'm no expert but the movement in this Tudor looks like Seagull. Other opinions? Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260801439582

  15. Welcome to the forum clubmaster. Well, where to start with the answer to your question. First, be prepared to see a barrage of insulting reply's saying "use the search function". That's such a frigging cop out. Some folks just aren't that helpful or friendly around here to be quite frank but i digress. Now back to the question at hand. I would start by looking in the "dealers" section. There are many trusted dealers that offer good looking reps and yes, vintage Submariners included. They all have pretty much the same thing. All with there plus and minus qualities. I have an MBW 1680 that has been modded and i like it a lot. Mods typically include trimming of the cg's and aging a bit. Also, the rep crowns on the vintage models are horrible and need replaced. Take care and have fun with your quest. This is an addicting hobby, and lots of fun seafoam

  20. Just thought I'd update this thread. Spin came thru and delivered a gen crown and tube and a stem to boot. Thanks to Spinmaster for following thru.
  21. Here is the link to where i was re-directed while attempting to check out tswisswatch.com. I haven't read all the legal mumbo jumbo but looks like he was caught to me. http://servingnotice.com/oft/
