  1. How do I find The Zigmeister on this forum? I want to get a watch pvd
  2. I saw this watch being sold "ROLEX GMT II LV" from a private seller. It does look very nice but I'm assuming it's a fantasy watch. Green GMT II insert Trip lock crown, 16610 sub bracelet, Noob sub style bezel, GMT II C watch case GMT II dial + hands Maxi Dial So am i right that it's a phantasy watch?
  3. From what i've heard the wm9 yachtmaster is amazing but it's so expensive. The Bk yachtmaster is supposedly very good as well. So i'm wondering what is the differenec between the two? What flaws does the bk yachtmaster have that the wm9 doesn't?
  4. Do the gen yachtmaster have ar on the mag or not? I hear that they are but then I hear that they aren't, I'm so confused.
  5. thanks by-tor, unfortunately I'm not much of a modder, I'm all thumbs, let's put it this way, if the motto was "it's so easy a cave man can do it" I'm still screwed lol.
  6. Precious time is still the "RLX Submariner 2008 Supreme Edition 1:1!" and according to By-tor this is the WM9 sub, my question is, is this the V2 case or is this the V1 wm9 case?
  7. who is this seller called fakemaster? Can you send me his site or info
  8. my bad i forgot to put in the link to the watch.. here's the link http://www.puretimewatch.com/index.php?pro...cture_id=517518
  9. Can someone tell me if this GMT II pro hunter from Angus is the ICHS or the CHS? If it's the CHS I probably don't want it since it would not work correctly and probably break over time Thanks
  10. I'm now looking for the V3 21J but I can't seem to find a dealer in the US that has it. I don't feel like waiting for something to come in to the coountry. From what i heard the eta clone is supposed to be better than the 21j, is this true? i mean both are asian movements
  11. i like it I like it a lot lol, looks like the V3 is the better deal
  12. I read about the flaws and differences on V2 and V3 my only question is which one should I go for? All the DSD pictures are super close ups but from a distance of 1-2 foot (every day wear) would the skinner fonts on the bezel of the V3 really be that noticeable? Is it so bad that after one look at a gen from an AD that you would spot the difference 3 days later if someone was wearing the rep? I'm inclined to go for the V3 because it's Lum is actually more like the gen.
  13. I'm looking for super sea dweller ceramic that looks the "best" cosmetically out of the box. I don't have much modding skills (actually none) and I don't mind if it's an asian movement since I don't think I'll find a watchmaker who'll work on reps around me anyway so a Swiss would be over kill for me. A reliable Asian movement with the "best" cosmetically out of the box is what I'm looking for. I don't feel like spending $400 at this time...
  14. that's what i mean, some of these 1:1 reps can't even do that without some slight modding..
  15. The reps today are definitely better than what was available 1 year ago and I am amazed at the quality that comes out of these factories but... I hope no dealers get offended by me about this but I've notice that a few dealers are advertising their watches as 1:1. And my thing is, if these watches are really 1:1 then they should (technically) look and feel exactly like the gen cosmetically. Meaning no modding on CG, Dials, Hands, Pearls, crowns, tubes, crystal and etc.. That's what I assume 1:1 implies. Naturally these watches are not going to be QC when they get assembled so you will get mistakes in assembly (misaligned hands, dials, crooked crystal, bad movement, noisy movement) but each part individually parts should still be 1:1 cosmetically. So while i can accept the fact that these watches may come delivered with issues of bad assembly at least the parts that make up the watch should be technically 1:1. But from what I've seen no matter how 1:1 the watches are advertised as they're still not true 1:1 reps. One still has to mod the pearl, crown, crystal, dial, and etc depending on who you buy from. And you still may have issues swapping a gen part into a rep that's advertised as 1:1 Now i know some off you will say "well 99.9 percent of the people won't know the difference of the 1% difference", that is true but the point of buying a rep that's advertised as 1:1 should mean that the 1% of cosmetic difference should not be there. That I should be able to swap a gen part into a rep without modding I don't mind paying 600-700 bucks for a rep that 1:1 if it's a true 1:1.
