  1. Ah but the 30s chrono is not that to emulate in the movement! The question is what kind of movement would go in these? It says it is a Calibre 47B...? What is this and is there a rep of this movement available yet?

I would be interested in helping someone produce a decent rep of this if anyone has the know how!

  2. I want to relume my SA, and was thinking of using tritium, but I couldn't find it. So I thought of using Super LumiNova, but couldn't find that to purchase anywhere!

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

I've used the hell out of the search, but all i can come up with was what the two looked like, and how it worked for different people. Nothing about where they got it from!

    Thanks,

  3. @ coolfire, my office machine is a BEAST:

    supermicro 5046a-xb barebones

    intel i7-965 extreme edition

12 gig of OCZ platinum ddr3-1600

2 intel x-25-e solid state drives

    dual quadro fx3800's

    windows xp64

faster than anything I've ever used, if something is slow, its the coding of the program not the machine. OTB, with no overclocking can calculate 1 million places in SuperPi in 12 seconds. Yea, its fast...

Home is just a dual 3.2g xeon work station with 2 raptors, and dual 8800gtx's, and its like a dinosaur compared to my machine at the office. If I ever get laid off, I am telling them I want the PC...

Wow your not kidding! The i7 is awesome! I built a computer for a kid a little bit after these were released, and let me tell you, that computer was blazing! I think the kid ended up paying a little over 5,000 for it. He wanted the extreme, 12gb ram, dual radeon hd cards (4gb total graphics), coolermaster cosmos case, 1200 watt psu, 2 raid 0 raptors, couple terabyte drives, water cooling...the works! I played a couple games on it, and it was really really fast. I think I pocketed 100 bucks from the kid for building it, i usually build them for gas money!

My computer I have now, is a dell...i got it for work. It is really pretty nice. It's the Dell Studio XPS 1640 laptop. Core 2 Processor, 512 gpu, 8gb ram, 320hdd, rgled screen, FULL 1080p in liquid led! Nice and fast but get's really hot...

  4. I know there aren't any really available, but I wanted to ask...

I see some on the "not so gravy" dealer sights, and I know they aren't the real thing that is shown in the pictures, but what if I just want a rep that LOOKS close to the gen. I really like the size and style of this watch and would love to own a decent rep, but my obsession with this watch is making me want to do drastic things...

I really want this rep! Where can I get one? Can I get one?

  5. good stuff, but you will need to get the 9600gt that is pci express x16, not the pci express 2.0 x16. Your motherboard does not support the 2.0 so therefor buying it would be useless. Just make sure before you buy!

And again they are really easy to install, if you have questions, just pm me or email me

  6. HA! Agreed! I just bought an extremely overpriced laptop, that is going to be top of the line until...oh a couple minute after I bought it! If you like to play games, then the investment in a 360 is worth it. Hell get a PS3 and you get a bluray player on top of it all, but not as good of gameplay online...

  7. HA! I am TOTALLY SORRY about that! I missed the second pic totally. Your processor IS good. I really like the AMD processors but for the graphics card you definately need an upgrade. You can just leave your onboard GPU where it is, and install the new gpu. I would recommend the 9600 gt over the 8800 gt or gtx, as that card is huge, compared to the 9600 and it uses more power. There is a hack you can use in XP that allows you to use more RAM, however, ram is used for running multiple application, so if you are a multitasker then this would be essential, and you could STILL upgrade to the 4gb. If it is a faster ram, then it will make everything run better. Xp is AMAZING with 4gb ram and a dual core cpu like this one. I feel like I am rambling...you are in Eu right? I am willing to walk you through installing ANY parts you choose to buy, and also also making more recommendations. Just let me know and I'll be happy to help!

  8. Hey so First off how much did you spend on the system and is it too late to return it? J/K!!!

You do have an available slot on your motherboard but the 8800 wouldn't really fit and you do NEED another PSU...also upgrading to vista and getting a motherboard/cpu bundle from Tigerdirect or Newegg.com would be the ideal place to get something. I built my in-laws a "budget" computer for under $200 us, and I can play most ANY game out right now (crysis, and prototype, not so much...Low settings with SOME lage, but it plays and these are the games to benchmark!)

If you can find a college kid in your area that wants a little extra gas money, you could very easily get someone to build one for you. In your case you wouldn't really need to get a super expensive graphics card to play those games, but something like a 9600 gt 512 card would be fine for what you need and these go for about 40 dollars.

RAM is a different story, since your running XP it is out of date a bit, and I am guessing you have DDR ram, or being hopeful, DDR2, if that is the case you can get a couple sticks of DDR2 Ram 4gb total (only if you upgrade to Vista :) ), for a wopping $35 bucko's!

Also what is you processor and motherboard type? To find your CPU just go to "System" in the control panel and copy all that info. It should say your core, total ram, and processor speed. Tell me what all this is, and I'll let you know what you need to get and even how to install all of it, if your interested.

You can PM me all this info, and I'll look at it and get back to you.

    BTW;

I am a Computer Engineer (Hardware Engineer) and have tons of experience building computers, so you have questions, I'll answer them...

  9. I love my SA, and I want a 6.75...

I hear the SA wears very big, while the 6.75's size is comparable to the SA, it isn't as tall. Get the SA, then in a couple months get the 6.75!

By the way I got mine in black, and have wanted the white ever since i got it...

Use cape cod cloths on the bracelet, oil it and lightly tap the connections...it makes the bracelet feel INFINATELY better!

  10. i dont think 3 hours of research is enough for u buddy! if ur lookin for somethin nice u should'nt jump into buying a rep this quick, trust me u'll regret it

TOTALLY agree with you on this! the first submariner I bought i just say on some googled replica place, and what I got was HORRIBLE! I learned the hard way. For my SA I researched about 20 hours before i got out the Visa...
