I do believe the copyright infringement has more to do with companies using registered trademarks then it has to do with accuracy of product being sold.
Anybody know of a seller of half-decent looking Glashutte pilot watches?
Most I've seen are pretty freaking awful! A nice Senator Pilot (not even with that big date) would be nice.
Like a B-uhr or something. Anybody? Anybody?
Okay. That clears that up.
Now, what's up with the rehaut on the reps? Why are they so "off?" I'm talking about the engravings not matching up at 1/4 hours.
I read "1:1 Edition" on so many rep sites.
What's that engraving/barcode thing on the side of the Milgauss?
Some gens have it and some don't. I've yet to see a rep with it.
I'm guessing its a sticker.
Its a gen. You can tell since the space between the date wheel and the dial is very tight. The reps aren't as tightly fitted as this. I always compare the reps with the superb pics at Joyful Collection.
Compare the dial/date wheel of this UPO gen (on the left) with the rep (on the right):
The tolerances aren't as tight on the rep as they are on the gen.
